Michigan Special Olympics State summer games at CMU on Friday May 30th from 10-4pm and Saturday May 31st form 10-2pm. We would part of what they call the special events. These are things that the athletes at the games can do in their off-time when they are not competing. Terry and Beth Great are in need of some helpers! Please let me or them know if you can help!! From now on, each year I will create a new summer schedule. After a 3 year long list of scores and editing, it becomes a little confusing for the admins to enter scores n such. You can always find it through the Trip C's page. It's easy, it has the year on it:)

Anyway, schedule is NOT done as of right now, but keep checking back in the next couple weeks I will have it up!
Please note the return of the Women's League Private Course! Yep! Back to Jay's house once a month!!

This is a friendly reminder of CCR's upcoming fundraiser, Sat Feb 23 at Fitzgerald Park in Greand Ledge. The purpose of this Fundraiser to to raise enough money to revamp the course. Give it the updates it needs to be easy to navigate and fun to play for all skill levels.

Because this is a FUNdraiser! payouts for all Ams will be used or donated plastic or other merch. So if you have anything you would like to donate to the cause, we would greatly appreciate it. The more donations we have, the more money can go to the course! Hey women! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and have a fun and safe Happy New Year!

The Legendary Sleepy Hollow Mixed Doubles event is coming up in March. If you need a partner, please let me know! I have had a couple guys interested already.

Disc Girls Gone Wild is June 9-10, 2012! Lets make 2012 a year no girl will want to miss! We may have a very special guest coming next year!

I have been voted in as a Co-Vice President of the CCR for the next year along with Jeff Dutka, and Matt Rinker as President. I hope more of you will get involved in the CCR leagues the next year as I promise you good things:)

Monday night leagues will start up shortly after the time change in March or the first week of April depending upon weather conditions. But I hope to see some of you, or most of you, out at the Mixed Doubles fundraiser!

Come play the first annual Legenday Sleepy Hollow Mixed Doubles event at Sleepy Hollow State Park. This is a bring your own partner (1 male, 1 female) mixed doubles tournament. Format will be best shot all day. If you need a partner please contact me and I can find you one! I have many many girls in town that would like to play and may not have partners! There will be 2 divisions. Pro and Am. If you normally play Pro or Advanced you will play Pro. All other Ams will play am. To pre-reg, post on the talk board here and tell me you and your partners names, division, and pdga numbers if you have one. Cash pay out for Pro teams, big merch payouts for Ams!

Entry Fees:
Pro - $40, Men pay $25, women pay $15!
Am - $25, Men pay $20, women pay $5!

All proceeds will go to the Disc Girls Gone Wild, Women only event at Sleepy Hollow on June 19-20, 2010.

Congrats to Mitch Winters for winning the Experienced division, me winning Intermediate and Leslie for winning the women's division AND the ace pool throw off for $30! Keep your eyes open for an event in December at DeWitt!! I am looking at December 5th or 6th. I am hoping that the next fundraiser we do can be the same style but with a SuperClass frisbee! I'm in search of donations for this one as well! Hey you girls at Connxtions, can you get some free passes to give out for the winter fundraiser since it will be in DeWitt? And anyone know anyone who works at Rookies? If not, I will go there myself and talk to the manager about a GC to there.

This is a bring your own partner event. Jeannine and Leslie will be playing? Who's gonna step up and try to beat that team? :) It's a fun day of golf with a partner! For those of you who did not attend....oh man, you missed a really good time! I have some photos posted on my profile if you'd like to look. The courses were amazing, the people were amazing, and we were treated like princesses the whole week! The hotel (AmericInn) general manager, Dave Arango, was the most fabulous host we could ask for! He did everything right and MORE!

First, congrats to Leslie Charles for taking the first (i think) ever Senior GrandMasters Title!
Brit Pflug placed 2nd in Recreational along with Ragine Hanson in 3rd! Congrats to you both, you girls rocked it in Iowa! Liz Carr took an outstanding 3rd place in Pro Women, congrats Liz! And I took the last cashing spot in Pro Women, 8th place.

I had an amazing time and I'm sorry if you have to golf with me next week, cuz that's all you will hear about;) Can't wait to see you all at Jay's house!
