Amateurs!!!!! I have a great announcement!!!! All Amateur Division winners for the Race will receive a $120 voucher for a pair of shoes from Pacific Jack Boots (No-D-Lay) in Albany. If you want to win some shoes get your buddies!!!!!! To Qualify you must have at least 6 players in your division in all tournaments.
Don't be distracted by Boots in the name. He carries Keen, Vasque, and Merrill. Not to mention a good selection of discs.

Every 2nd Tuesday of each month ADGC holds there monthly meeting at the pooia brewery at which all are welcome to attend...however with busy schedules or lack of motivation most peeps I see playing our local courses are never in attendance....so now you have a chance to have your opinions/thoughts/questions and or comments heard at these meetings!....boo ya!

Just respond to this post with whatever you want brought up concerning the local valley and mountain courses, EX. Conditions, events, player traffic, suggestions and so on...

Let's call this "The Voice Of The People" Forum and I will make sure we get some time to let it be heard at the meetings....thanks for your help!

Random Draw Doubles at Willamette tonight!
$5 buy in. Meet at hole 1 shortly before 7pm to form teams.

It's going to be a great place to view the Lunar Eclipse. The moon shoud be eclipsed for most of the round. Next lunar eclipse at Apogee (closest part of orbit to earth, and thus largest appearing moon) will be in 2033 (and who knows what the weather will be like THAT night? I'll be 60y/o and probably KILLING Senior Grandmaster Divisions!) Viewing conditions are perfect for tonight, and it'll be a "balmy" 60 degrees out. The park is open until 10pm, so this is fully legit (no need to wear camo).

Don't miss out on this, it's going to be epic!

Pool Assignments: Pool A all Pro divisions and MA1
Pool B All other divisions
Pool A: Saturday morning Timber Linn Saturday afternoon Bryant. Sunday Bryant.
Pool B: Saturday morning Bryant Saturday afternoon Timber Linn Sunday Timber Linn.

Friday: Course set up 1pm to 4pm. Both courses will be marked, but baskets will not be out at Timber Linn until Saturday morning.
Early check-in at Calapooia Brewing 6pm.

Saturday:
Pool A: Timber Linn Late check in 8:30am Player’s meeting 9:30 tee off 9:45 Round 2 Bryant player’s meeting 1:45 tee off 2pm

Pool B: Bryant Park late check in 8:00am Player’s meeting 9:00 tee off 9:15 Round 2 Timber Linn 2pm Player’s meeting tee off 2:15

Lunch at Bryant Park will be available from Smoking B’s BBQ $8.00 We will also have some free beer from Calapooia Brewing.

Sunday:

Capital city disc golf club is hosting random flip dubs at Bryant tomorrow at 10 am. Not trying to take away from adair dubs (which I really enjoy), but we usually have a good turnout and would enjoy the company of any locals who would like to throw with us. $50 ace pot for non ccdgc members ($100 for members). $6 all in no mulligans.

Hi! So I'm about to move back to Albany after moving to Alabama for a few years and I just so happened to get introduced to disc golf while I was here and eventually became really good after I realized I'm a lefty. That took me for a loop. Haha. Been playing for roughly 2 years now. But I was wondering about the courses in Albany and the surrounding areas. I'm really excited to play some new courses and show my friends there how fun and addicting I can be. And I'm hoping to possibly join another club. I'm a doubles addict. Hey all. I'm back! Ok, so no one noticed. I've not been able to make the last 3 Sunday Dubs and it's been KILLING me!
I have a bunch of CTP plastic, beer, and other stuff that needs to go out to the peeps!
I made it to Friday PM dubs at Dallas yesterday (That was REALLY fun btw, thanks guys!) and I know a bunch of those hombres are planning on coming down Sunday. We're going to make it a big spring blow out! I may have been slightly altered yesterday, but I'm pretty sure I threw out to plan for 7 CTPs!

I would like to make a spot to discuss some of the changes at Bryant Park in order to try to get more of the community involved in changes that are made. If you enjoy playing Bryant and consider it one of your home courses, please leave your (constructive) comments here. Let's avoid rants (I'm prone to ranting myself, and it really doesn't do much good). I'd like to see what some of you have to say, and then I'll lay out some of my ideas.

TEE PADS AT WATERLOO!!!!!!

Starting this Thursday & Friday Mar13th & 14th....9am Adam Rudd from Pacific Jack Boots & Gear will be hosting work parties to get the new and old tee pad positions ready to pour!!!

Please bring shovels and other hand tools if you have them and join in the fun....and be some of the first peeps to see, help make and of course throw! the new lines for holes with new tee pad locations.

If all goes according to plan Waterloo will have 18 brand new concrete tee pads within the next 4 weeks....let's get this done people!!!
