The League is slowly starting to grow so a few small updated and rules will go as follows we will remain in one group with 10 or less players.11-16 will split into 2 groups one group will start then the next group..Both groups will stop at hole 6 & 10 for a "Break".. In the event of odd number of teams exceeding 10 players the larger team will start and playe ahead for the entirity of the round

In the event there is a tie or the ace pool is unbroken at the conclusion of the season we will schedual and do a Ace Race Style shoot off at Raintree park All Ace RACE RULES APPLY so youll have to keep tract of all basket and pole hits you have incase noone makes a ACE. In the unlikely event there still is a tie it will be broken with a 1 Hole CTP between the players who are still tied!

We had a great turn out today for the first offical quackpack opener of the 2012 season..It was a back and forth battle for first palce rite until the end where Bill P and Will C ran away with the first win of the season with a (73) Great job guys! Hole #12's CTP Winner was Duncan U with a basket banger for $7.00 also He had the Shot of the day on Hole #18 with a 75-100ft birdie Nice shot guy! Hole #17's CTP went to Will C with a Basket banger of his own for $7.00 great shot guy! A Honorable mention to Amber on Hole #17 for her pole hitting parkjob nice shot guy! and finally the optional Hole #22's CTP Winner was Bill P with a 5tf park job for $5.00 nice shot guy! The rules for the 2012 quackpack discgolf league will goes as follows all normal disc golf rules will apply except for out of bounds. The only out of bounds hazard will be water hazard (water hazard consist of a players disc submerged in water and unplayable by unability of getting the disc within the 1 foot specified rule allowed to shoot your disc or by choice)(If your disc is submerged to where others players cannot see it you have to retrieve and show proof of there disc to other players) Also if there are odd amounts of players one player will play cali and normal 1 shot per hole rules apply. points will be awarded if cali player got in them and a blind person will be added! All offical quackpack sunday leagues must have a director or admin to count as offical!

We this year are going to keep track of point stats for player of the year with a payout cash prize at the end of the season.In order to get points and possibly the cash prize at the end of the season you will have to get in weekly at the cost of $1per person the more u come and play the better your chances. Both players do not have to get in. In the event that happens the player who didnt get in will have a blind partner for points and blind persons points do not count and are omited..point system will work as follows for ("7-8+ players or 3 teams & 1 cali min of 4teams...1st place= 5 points per player...2nd place= 3 points per player...3rd place= 2 points per player...4th place & below= 1 point")................("5-6 players for 3 teams...1st palce= 3 points per player...2nd place= 2 points per player...3rd place=1 point").......................("3-4 players for 2 teams...1st palce= 2 points per player...2nd place= 1 point per player")

John Vorpagel of the Quack Pack got his first Ace today! On hole 13 @ Fire Fighters Disc Golf Course in Troy, Michigan. He'd being trying for a side arm skip ace last year and it didn't happen. Today he threw the side arm without the skip and it banged the chain! Good Work John!

Yes its that time of year again :-) Sunday quackpack at stoney creek..This is the first offical season opener we should have quite a few teams with that being said bring your A+ game...Bring your dollars too there are two and a optional third CTP hole..Quackpack trophie is up for grabs too....On a sidenote I jonathon vorpagel will be posting quackpack news pics and videos with score card etc.. Another Sunday has came and went! We had a Major 2 Rounder which started @ OU's Grizzley Oaks DGC and finished @ Troy's Fire Fighters DGC. Andre & Toez had the lead after the first round and kept it throughout the day to come away with a stellar 3 stroke victory. Taking both CTPs at Grizzley Oaks with some decent wind throwing the discs around. That was just the prequel to the serious wind party at Firefighters. Many Birdies made the round pretty interesting. Dre & SKiNnTo only had 3 bogeys after 36 holes for nice 4 under and 3 stroke victory! GG Fellas. SKiNnTo & Duncan will be @ the Lions game Sunday. I am certain the Quack Pack will be back home @ Stoney Creek DGC and hopefully Andre will return to defend our title!

Well Nick Richardson & John Vorpagel participated in the 2011 Discraft Ace Race at Raintree Park this afternoon. There was plenty of Ace's to account for but not for John & myself. John finished with 2 Metal hits & I finished with 3 Metal hits. Had a lot of Fun and also received 2 Nice Prototype Discs (Putt/Approach) similar to Challengers, a sticker, mini marker thats pretty freaking sweet and a Bag that holds 6 or 7 disc. One of my Metal hits went in and out. John has video of it and hope to see it soon! Tomorrow morning we will venture to Stoney Creek's "The Buckhorn" DGC for our usual 8 a.m. start! Hopefully we can have a nice group and loads of fun!!!

Quack Pack is officially online! Was told by Brandon Oleskie that DG Scene is the Facebook for Disc Golf. Figured our group that we play with each and every week needed a place here! We play just about every Sunday at 8am @ Stoney Creek's "The Buckhorn" DGC. Sometimes we travel to other courses which include but not limited to Grizzly Oaks @ OU, Firefighters in Troy, Riverbends in Shelby and even sometimes out to HollyWoods in Holly. Not so much Holly anymore since the little run in with the DNR. DNR seem to be some disc golf haters! "HollyWoods is a family park!" Hopefully all of members follow me in signing up here!

I'm sure next Ace Race will bring us more success. Just was a good discn day for any of us! We were certainly pros when it came to parking at the basket. But of course in an Ace Race....that means nothing!

Tomorrow brings upon another Stoney Sunday! See ya @ 8am HOLE 1! Don't be late!!!!! Defending Champs are Bill and Duncan. Brandon may decide to show up again one day and bring the "Trophy" which has yet to make its appearance!

Congrads to Team Will and Bill for winning the first back to back wins today going into a 2 hole sudden death shoot off! It was a constant back and forth battle but a stella game winning shot by Bill P took the W in sudden death! Today also was the largest turnout the Quackpack has had to date of 14 palyers (7 teams). Todays CTP Hole winners on Hole #13 Bill P for $14 had some free parking rite under the basket good job guy...Hole # 17 went to Mike C for $14 rite under that basket too great shot! Optional Hole # 22 went to jonathon vorpagel (ME) for $11 with a nail biting walk off solid herb dean to ya guy! Also a optional Hole 24 long fairway drive winner was yours truly jonathon vorpagel for a whopping $4. Great turnout guys great playing this week and again a solid congrads to Team Will and Bill!!! =D

There are no reports of rain for sunday but friday evening and saturday may bring some rain causing for some damp wet ground so make sure to have good shoes on bring and dont forget to bring a towel =)
