I'm new to the area and I lost a disc at Woodsboro at Hole 12 over the Memorial Day weekend throwing from the green tees. I threw a Nuke (LHBH) and it hooked right in to the thick brush/wooded area near the Red tee off of Hole 12. Spent 30-45 minutes looking for it but no luck. It was one of my favorite go to discs too! :( If anyone should come across the disc it has my email address on the back ([email redacted]). It is a glow disk with a Captain America shield design stamped on it.

There is only a few people that use the scene in our area, most people post on the MD board but you do need a login. I'll message Steve for you, he is usually down to play whenever.

Currently Fredrock Tuesday singles are being played at only 2 courses, Woodsboro and Stone Ridge, for the rest of the winter season. Stone Ridge is the area's newest 9 hole course with pro and am tees. It is located on Erich's farm in Middletown, MD. Tight fairways, elevation changes and dense rough make for one of the most challenging courses in the area. Check the MD-discgolf.com board in section 'Player meets', thread 'Fredrock singles' for more information and/or directions to Stone Ridge.

Glow golf will be played for the next several months starting at 5:30 at one of the two courses. We use coin-cell batteries and a little LED taped to the bottom of our disc(s) to locate our discs at night. Also since Stone Ridge is such a new course the caretakers have installed solar lights around each basket to help the course newbies at night. Usually there are LED's and batteries for sale so don't let that stop you. Hope to see you out there!!

Steve Minnick, myself, and Wayne Nordberg made an impromptu appearance at Scarboro's SolNyx and left a good impression for Team Fredrock. I placed 3rd in the Intermediate division, Steve placed 2nd in Intermediate and Nordberg placed 2nd in the Open division. Even in the putting 'Ring of Fire' competition Team Fredrock was generally making putts, although we didn't take any wins.

It felt like we were at a family reunion meeting with long distance cousins. They certainly have the same passion for the game and they are certainly good spirited people. I look forward to playing out there again!
