We would like to ask you all to show your support for honoring Leroy Jenkins by signing a petition requesting the City of Medina to name the Medina Disc Golf Course at Roscoe-Ewing and Sam Masi Parks after Leroy. We would like to gather 1,000 signatures by August 1st to present to the city. On Sept. 2nd. There is an unsanctioned, singles tournament in honor of Leroy at the Medina course. Come show your support for a disc golfer in need!!!

For anybody who knows Sean "Ninja Daddy" Barnes, you know he is one of the nicest and most giving players associated with Lake County Disc Golf. His generosity comes both with time and money given to courses, but also to his fellow disc golf family. Sean has fallen on some serious health issues, and we'd like to give back to him, just as he has and would do for any of us.

This event will be a Bring Your Own Partner Doubles Event playing "Best Shot" format with two rounds of 9 holes at Osborne Park in Willoughby, Ohio. All proceeds will go directly to Sean to help him out in his time of need. We are actively looking for donations of prizes for this event and a benefit to be held after the event at Lakeshore Lounge to raise additional funds for Sean and his family. Please consider donating a disc or anything else disc golf related for this event. Prizes will be based on the donations we receive, and at a minimum, there will be CTPs on each hole during the event and hopefully some extra prizes for the top 2-3 teams in each division.

If registration dictates, this event may move to Sims Park to allow more players to participate.

Save the date!! The funnest day of disc golf is less then 2 monthes away, Sunday, September 16th at Lake Shore Park in Ashtabula Ohio is the 2018 Sticky Fingers. This is a truely unique disc golf event and one that you definitely don't want to miss. There will be a rib burn off with tons of awesome food, live music, cold beer, classic car cruise in, and a fun 2 part disc golf event, fun for the whole family!! Part 1 is a Birdie Bash where everyone plays from the red tees and gets 2 shots to score points by getting an Ace, a birdie, or hitting metal. Part 2 is a bring your own partner doubles scamble where you will get to choose which tees you play from (red, white, or blue) so all skill levels are welcome. Borderline Discs "Show&Throw1" - Flex Start kicks off the Mercer County Disc Golf Tour!!!

Here is how it works.

Step 1.) Find 2 or more Players, regardless division or tee layout, ask them to come to the Show and Throw C-Tier.

Step 2.) Pick a time with your other players to head down to The Pines. Anytime between the hours of 8:30AM to 5:30PM

Step 3.) Meet at your chosen time with your other card mates.

Step 4.) Warm up and Stretch.. nobody likes to play cold.

Step 5.) CHECK IN WITH Trevor Murphy at the Spruce Cove Pavilion for a Scorecard.

Step 6.) Tee Off and have the best time of your life playing 18 Holes at the Pines for this Inaugural Event!

Step 7.) Wind down.. Finalize Scorecards.. Turn them In.

Step 8.) Go Relax and wait for the results to be posted at 8pm EST

Step 9.) Prepare yourself for the next Borderline Discs "Show&Throw2" - Flex Start at Buhl Park DGC!!!!

Flex starts are a fun and great way to get a rated round in! With AM Worlds just around the corner coming to PA, you need all the pdga points you can get for the invite!

These are a great way to produce those points, gain experience in events, and meet new players!

Choose your Card, Your Time, Your Way!

The "Show&Throw" Events are Single Events. They are not combined in a series of themselves. Play in one or play them all. Each is paid out after the event. (Pro Monetary/AM Merch)

The overall points series is the MCDGT (Mercer County Disc Golf Tour)

Less than 2 Weeks out for our first Borderline Discs "Show&Throw1" - Flex Start

We hope you can join us!

These are Individual Professional Disc Golf Association C-Tier Events

"Flex Starts" are a convenient way to play a Rated PDGA Tournament round without committing an entire day!

Choose your Tee Time, Pick up Players to make a card of at least 3, Play Your Round, Submit your card and wait for the day to end. At 8pm on April 28th we will have the payouts and ratings posted.
Payouts will be Paypal or Check for Pro/Open Players. Merchandise for All Amateur Payouts will be ready for pickup at 8pm April 28th at Borderline HQ in Sharpsville PA.
Also a Gift Code for Online Inventory will be available to ALL Am Event Winners.

Players are encouraged to find other players that are playing the same tee set but is not mandatory to do so to fill a card. A mixed card of divisions is allowed only if they follow their Divisions Tee Layout.

10 Minute Intervals of Tee Times will start at approximately 9:00 AM April 28th and run until 5:00 PM. Last Tee Off is 5:00 PM.

Pre-Registration is required either by following the registration link or contacting us, Borderline Discs, the Shenango Valley Disc Golf Alliance - SVDGA, or Trevor Murphy; Tournament Director, directly.

There is no Player Pack for this event and is why the cost per event is lower.
