The next PDGA Ratings update is Aug 26. This will fall after the registration deadline of Aug 22. If your rating changes after the Aug 26 update and you are registered in a division that you no longer are eligible for you will have to move to the division you are eligible for. I will be checking the ratings after the update and will send messages to those that need to move. If you think your rating is going to change you may as well just sign up for the that division when registering. We know the 2 week rule. We also are letting you know now that you will have to move to play in this event
Friday Aug 29th
Check In- 10 am to 8pm (MUST pre-reg by Friday Aug 22nd-)
Pre-reg is also possible for the QUALIFIER- we will be tracking pool totals and we will only be taking Qualifier regs up to the Pool Maximums-THE LAST CHANCE QUALIFIER WILL BE A QUALIFIER AGAIN THIS YEAR- All who play may not get into the tournament.

Check in is at- MASON CO PARK PAVILLION on FRIDAY
(Paid Pre-reg can check in AT COURSE Sat morning by 8:30)

LAST CHANCE QUALIFIER at 4 pm for remaining berths.
One round on BEAST for Pools Pro and Am 1- ALL OTHER divisions play BEAUTY- best scores win ALL remaining / not claimed berths- All players who play Qualifier MAY NOT make it into the State Final Tournament! Cost is $10. Top scores in Qualifiers will receive Berth Package (10 avail-(to be divided by division)).

Cost is $10 per player- Bring a partner- Divisions- Pro, Master, Am 1, Am 2, Am Mixed (man/woman)- (2 teams makes a div)


REGISTRATION resumes after Last Chance qualifier till
8 pm!! This year when you sign up for Last Chance Qualifier we will allow you to tournament reg- if you do not qualify for State Finals your money will be refunded. THIS SHOULD GET EVERYONE HEADING OUT RIGHT AFTER LCQ.

LATE registration- 8am to 8:30am (for ANY remaining spots)
At your course- $10 Berth fee, $10 late fee, plus registration fees-! All persons again this year MUST PRE-REG ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE- this will allow us to ensure the Pools will not overfill- you will still be responsible for reporting to your course on time!!! ALL LAST CHANCE MONEY AND LATE FEES ADDED TO PAY OUT- Payout for ams will be at least 150%

THE FIVE POOLS AGAIN WILL BE A TEST FOR OUR STAFF- WE EXPECT AGAIN 400+ PLAYERS !!!!!!

CAMPING AT SCHWASS’S- SOME camping at the TD’s house will be allowed BY PERMISSION ONLY- CAMPING will be $10 per head per night for port-a-jon/ trash dumpster fees. Call first- DO NOT JUST SHOW UP AND EXPECT TO CAMP- THIS IS PROB THE LAST YEAR! Too many people just DON’T get it….

Immediately following all Sunday rounds- REPORT TO MASON CO PARK PAVILION- ½ hour after last scoreboard reaches Mason Co Park the $350 SKINS MATCH will begin at the top of Beast #1 hill- MARK ELLIS- RINGMASTER!! After the Skins Match the Awards Ceremony will begin IMMEDIATELY- NO EARLY PRIZES WILL BE HANDED OUT- DO NOT ASK!!!!!

Welcome again to the 19th annual tournament at Ludington and the 23rd State Championship sponsored by the MDGO!

Changes for this year-
Riverside Park, Scottville
Scottville course is at Riverside Park on the south end of town- Drive thru park/campground all the way to back past bathrooms. Tee pads have been approved- However they be our responsibility to purchase so some temp pads are in till then. Still liberal tee pads here. There are 15 tight wooded holes and 9 in the big field. Technical AND big air!

Leviathan, Ludington-
The cement project for mids and short continues- The front is almost done- WE KNOW THE TEE PADS SUCK- you may tee BEHIND any mat instead of on them. The longs have 4 new holes- A longer A, a hole that plays from B fairway to the C basket, a hole after 12 that plays to the E basket and a new hole between 15 and 16- BE CAREFUL! Watch card on back and make sure you play course correctly!! YOU are responsible.

West Shore Community College-
Pro course is almost complete- 2015- Tee pads ( rubber mats) are installed for 2014- you may tee to either side 1 foot leeway- Follow signs to ice arena- course is at back of ice arena.

Mason Co Park- Ludington and
Flip City- Shelby

The three courses at Mason Co Park and Flip City at Shelby remain virtually unchanged- At Mason Co Park follow park road to the split- turn left and drive to pavilion. The PRO tees will be used by ALL divisions at Flip City and the BLACK LINE on the tees is the tee- NOT the end of the pad- Bill has updated some of the worn pads
