As TD of this event I have not deleted any comments post event, so I am not sure where post were made but I believe I am the only one with delete power. I do delete post pre event so the cashless pre registration can be handled and pertinent tourney info stays at the top of the comments section. But no deletions were made post event by myself. Since apparently my explanation was deleted..
Parking was never limited- we got everyone in and no player had to park anywhere else, nor any customer. The tournament is not run by us but by an outside club. The people coming in do not make up for the lost revenue if customers can not make it in as well. Plus it is impossible to inform them in advance. Nobody had to pay for parking, Lakeshore charges a fee for events because it costs them more employee time and to be in compliance with county regulations. We hate that it is that way even more than you do.

When you have 100 golfers coming why in the world do you need to save parking spots for shoppers for your store THAT'S DUMB!

All scores and results are now up on the PDGA website and here on the disc golf scene. A special thanks to Sissy for her dedicated help. We played 48 holes in frigid conditions and had everyone on their way home by 6 pm even after the side games, tourney payouts, and Ace Pool throw off. We gave away over 400+ in sponsorship during the jumbo toss, and another $300 in added prizes, cash, and sponsored trophies. White Opto Flow, misprint, red and chrome stamps. There is a tiny black dash on the flight plate. I had gone OB on 12, left side, and after my upshot I had forgotten to grab it. There were the MA1 cards behind us So I hope one of them found it, only they didn't turn it in to lost and found. I would very much like to have the disc back please.

I'm just trying to locate a disc. Its a purple metal flake tee bird from 2013, I'd really like to just have it back it was a disc from my brother who isn't around anymore so it has some sentimental value to it. It was in between 9 and 10

Everyone on the wait list is now in ! I believe I have 1 spot for a walk up beyond the wait list plus we will get a few additional no shows // so there should be a few additional open spots Saturday morning.

Please note last event with perfect weather on March 14th we were full at 84 but only 73 of the 84 showed and 3 walk ups got in for a total of 76 players. So, if you are in the 1st 9 of the wait list you are very likely to get in for we have never had a cashless event with perfect attendance. We usually have at least 5 to 9 no shows due to late morning wake ups, late evenings, car trouble, sickness, etc...

Forecast for Saturday looks good with 0% of precipitation, sunny, light wind under 10 mph and temps in the mid to upper 30's. // a bit nippy but with the sun shining and light winds under 10 mph it sounds like a pretty good disc golf weather day.

(A) PLEASE CAR POOL as much as you can, as Ben noted. Parking will be scarce, and we will need to keep some spots open for Throw Shop customers who are not competing in this great event.
(B) Also, take advantage of the provided, inexpensive lunch, to cut down on traffic in and out of the complex.
(C) On the morning of the event, please ensure that your DRIVER CAN SHOW A RED OR AN ORANGE DISC to the security guard. We MAY be able to use this to speed up the process.

Update: I am working with Lakeshore to get approval for additional parking but it does not seem like we will. We need to be open for customers so there will be blocked off spaces and it's more than likely there will not be enough spaces for everyone playing the tournament. Please carpool and plan ride shares from nearby public lots. If you're coming in later, we cannot assure you a place to park here. Sorry it's just not in our control.
We will be getting pizza so many people won't have to leave for lunch which makes things easier later.
Will let you know if things change.

Please plan your carpools out now, parking will be limited- some spots will be reserved for shoppers later so there may not be enough spaces in the morning! If not, some will have to carpool from someplace down the street. Lakeshore won't allow parking in their apartment lots for this event at this time.

Car Pool if you can but if you can not car pool and the lot completely fills you can park down the street at shopping center and I will get someone to shuttle you in. // No Worries // Thanks

Well Said Mike, And I have no problem helping you pay that high fee And as a player who attends your events I am sure I can speak for everyone in saying, Your efforts in making things run as smooth as possible for our benefit is much appreciated.
Eddie speaks my sentiment aswell mike. Of the tournys i have played yours are at the top of the list. You have always handled events with everyones best interest at heart. Thanks for everything.
It is not a parking fee. It is a fee to pay the time of a security guard. I have no concerns about the missing posts. Let me remind everyone again that Lake Shore Apartments provides this disc golf course to the community for free.
Also, Mike, whatever happened to mine and Ben's comments, they are all gone. I never for a second think you took them down, but they are gone.
