As TD of this event I have not deleted any comments post event, so I am not sure where post were made but I believe I am the only one with delete power. I do delete post pre event so the cashless pre registration can be handled and pertinent tourney info stays at the top of the comments section. But no deletions were made post event by myself. The parking fee (event fee) of $160 is extremely high but I still plan on running events at this venue since Mark Kruse and Myself have donated a basket here and the course does have some different options then other local courses. What was poorly handled was being notified of the $160 fee after the event had already started and was ongoing rather than in advance. I will simply charge a $2 fee per man for future events here so the $160 burden does not fall upon one person (namely me). All participants who attend my events know how much I give away free into the jumbo toss, sponsored trophies, and added prizes. All these extras along with my disc pricing for payouts which are usually $2 to $3 less per disc than brick and mortars makes it very difficult to cover a $160 fee when unexpected. Thanks to all those who attended and thanks to the pro shop for their continued maintenance of the course.

Parking was never limited- we got everyone in and no player had to park anywhere else, nor any customer. The tournament is not run by us but by an outside club. The people coming in do not make up for the lost revenue if customers can not make it in as well. Plus it is impossible to inform them in advance. Nobody had to pay for parking, Lakeshore charges a fee for events because it costs them more employee time and to be in compliance with county regulations. We hate that it is that way even more than you do.

All scores and results are now up on the PDGA website and here on the disc golf scene. A special thanks to Sissy for her dedicated help. We played 48 holes in frigid conditions and had everyone on their way home by 6 pm even after the side games, tourney payouts, and Ace Pool throw off. We gave away over 400+ in sponsorship during the jumbo toss, and another $300 in added prizes, cash, and sponsored trophies. Along with in added unexpected $160 in sponsorship for a parking event fee charged by The Ponds of Lakeshore, for a total added sponsorship of $860+. Congrats to all the winners and to Brian Morba (AM2) who shot the highest rated round of any player at the event. It was a cold but beautiful sunny day of disc golf.

There were the MA1 cards behind us So I hope one of them found it, only they didn't turn it in to lost and found. I would very much like to have the disc back please.

Please note last event with perfect weather on March 14th we were full at 84 but only 73 of the 84 showed and 3 walk ups got in for a total of 76 players. So, if you are in the 1st 9 of the wait list you are very likely to get in for we have never had a cashless event with perfect attendance. We usually have at least 5 to 9 no shows due to late morning wake ups, late evenings, car trouble, sickness, etc...

(B) Also, take advantage of the provided, inexpensive lunch, to cut down on traffic in and out of the complex.

(C) On the morning of the event, please ensure that your DRIVER CAN SHOW A RED OR AN ORANGE DISC to the security guard. We MAY be able to use this to speed up the process.

(D) Please BE NICE to Lake Shore staff. We end up tripling the difficulty of their job on these tournament days!

(E) Have fun! I'll be there all day and am looking forward to watching a lot of disc fly!

Update: I am working with Lakeshore to get approval for additional parking but it does not seem like we will. We need to be open for customers so there will be blocked off spaces and it's more than likely there will not be enough spaces for everyone playing the tournament. Please carpool and plan ride shares from nearby public lots. If you're coming in later, we cannot assure you a place to park here. Sorry it's just not in our control.
We will be getting pizza so many people won't have to leave for lunch which makes things easier later.
Will let you know if things change.

If not, some will have to carpool from someplace down the street. Lakeshore won't allow parking in their apartment lots for this event at this time.
