One final note I like to thank Dave who drove over 1 1/2 hours round trip to pick up all the can goods from the tourney and he took them to the Stanford House shelter which is a women's shelter in Lincoln Park, MI who assist women in need. Any overflow of food items in which the Stanford House shelter can not use has gone to the Lincoln Park food bank for the needy. The Stanford House operations manager (Sandy) gives a big thanks to all those disc golfers who generosity was expletive and again makes me proud to be part of the disc golf community. You guys and gals rock !!

Thanks for the 88 players who attended. The event ran 1 hour longer than expected for the exact same 21 hole layout played at Turkey and Chains 2 1/2 months ago was done at 4:20 pm and this event took till 5:30 pm. I made a poor softy decision to allow the 4 guys who showed up from the wait list to get in and allow 4 more players play then I attended and I will not do that in the future for just those 4 extra players did cause some course delays and I apologize for that and will take a firmer non negotiable stance in the future. I did play in this event for Mark and I teamed up for this event and he was the acting TD and I agree play on the course was slow but part of that was extremely mudding conditions that created a lot of shoe cleaning and disc cleaning between shots that slowed down play. I made it home before kick off and hope most of you did also. Thanks to Sissy for providing a wonderful warm lunch, Mark for handling the vending and payout duties, Sean for handling the basket toss, can donations for helping out the local food bank, and all the players for their continue support of the events I am involved in. All those wait list players in the future sign up earlier for their will be no extra 4 beyond my set up caps for I do not want the 84 or whatever # is the cap who sign up timely be affected in any future events. You players rock and again thanks for your continued support and even after doing this for 13+ years I an strive to even get better. Thanks again!

Layout will be the same as Turkey & Chains in which we will play 21 holes (holes 1-18 & extra Holes A, E, & F) which is the shot toward the lodge, the island hole, and then the shot back from the lodge toward hole 1). All Divisions will play the 1st round from the Short Tees and then all Pro Divisions & AM1 Men will play the 2nd round from the Long Tees and everyone else will play the Short tees again. Wait list has begun! Please let me know asap if you are pre-reg'd and can not make it before I start making out the player cards. Thanks
