LAST LEAGUE NIGHT OF THE SEASON!
Tonight is the last night for league this season, starting at 7pm tonight, I do NOT plan on running a skins league again next season as there just isn't a big enough turnout each week, if anyone wants to hold their own league its up to you.
Tonight there will be a throwoff for half of the ace pool for paid members, the other half will go into the pot for the playoffs, the throwoff for tonight will payout 3 spots, 1st will get 50%, 2nd will get 30% and 3rd will get 20%

Leaderboard/Playoffs update!
So far the top 5 on the board are all guaranteed in the playoffs and they will be getting the berths if they are for sure planning on attending states, the battle for the 6th spot in the playoffs is now between mike wood with 8wks in/35pts & kevin egnatoski with 5wks in/18pts...9wks of attendance is required to make the playoffs.....so mike needs 1 more week in to make it and kevin needs 4 more weeks and some points to catch up to him, unless kevin shows up the 4 weeks and mike stays MIA from the league the rest of the season then kevin might just make it on the technicality

Possible cancellation for league this week 2/5
keep your eyes and ears open here on the scene or if anyone happens to drive by the park for the status of the tees, I will not have any time to do them this week so if no one else gets to them then league will be possibly be cancelled....stay tuned for updates

at this rate the ace pool will be empty by the end of the year! NICE ACE TEACH! tom finally got himself a BIG WIN with 8 skins last night, good job tom!
...speaking of the ace pool, at the end of this year on the last league night if no aces are hit that night then there will be a throwoff for 50% of whatever is in the pot at that time(50% as long as you are a member, 25% if youre not), whatever money is left over will not roll over to next year instead it will be added to the playoff pot for ...

NEW GUY TAKES THE ACE POOL
6 people came out, some new guy, (well new this year), friggin johnny mac came out and took our ace pool money away, nice ace on hole 2 acehole....sorry Schulte, guess you shoulda been there to claim it yourself, eggy also walked away with the win with 7 skins, im blaming wood, Sweeney and Schulte for not being there and letting these new guys come and take our moneys.....just a heads up for the holiday schedule, we will not be playing on xmas but we will be playing on new years day.

SNOW? WHAT SNOW?
looks like were gonna be playing our first snow on the ground round tonight, as you know glow discs don't work very well in the snow so I strongly suggest using LEDS, if you don't have em then ive got em for sale, since packaging tape doesnt stick well in the cold I also suggest taping them on while the plastic is warm and not while standing outside in the parking lot before the round so get there early enough to get your discs prepped before we start, make sure you contact me if youre going to be running late or cutting it close....see you all tonight for some fun in the white stuff!

I just want to start encouraging anyone who is coming out to play on Thursdays to please join the league group on the home page as often as possible, it only takes 2 seconds, it helps me get an idea of how many people are going to be there and also helps get more people interested when they see a big group will be there for sure

Chance of rain
Looks like there is a good chance of rain tomorrow that might get more steady as the day goes on, i dont know about all of you but i am sick of playing in the rain especially if its cold so if its looks like its just gonna pour i may call it off, as of now league is on as scheduled but i will be monitoring the weather all day tomorrow so check here on the scene before coming out to make sure, i will have a final go/no go posted by 330pm

ROUND 3, RECORD CROWD!
17 people came out tonight! split into 2 cards, bagger Moreno took the W with 11 skins on his card, Schulte took 10 skins for the W on the other card(still taking home more $ than Moreno), I won the ctp for $16....4 more people paid the $10 membership......playoff pot is at $167! ace pool is at $419

1st round was a success!
12 total players tonight, making 2 cards with 6 players each, 8 skins took the win with lots of other players still leaving with some cash and points, ace pool jumps to $323, 9 people paid the $10 memberships + the $1 from each entry means we start off the playoff pot already at $102 for the very first night, NICE!! thanks for coming out everyone, see you all next week!

just a heads up, i am at the mercy of the usps today for the LEDS, they were shipped monday morning but there is a chance they might not come today, so make sure you bring your glowies and try to find a couple leds elsewhere for tonight, i will for sure have them available next week

Do it cause you love it! you know as well as I it may take several years for your league to catch on. The last two winters def didn't help you guys tho.
It was a good run. Thanks to all the players that came out over the years to throw in the freezing ass dark. Good job running the show the past few years, Jay. 5 years of Freaky Friday/Glow Skins... seems like just yesterday we decided to get a round goin at 50 cents a skin.
Ill see how things go with my new job, might not have time for it but who knows maybe it will come back by popular demand ;)

Ive figured out payouts for the 4 people that seem to be the only ones making it next week, Payouts for the stroke play portion will be $125 for 1st, $95 2nd, $65 3rd and $40 for 4th, and after 4 people buy in @ $18 skins will be worth $10each!!!!! BOOM!
I would of had to pull a lot of strings to make it last night. But didn't see the incentive until 3 hrs before tee off. Oh well, see ya next Thursday.
