---- Bag Tag League OVERALL Guidelines ----
- The 2013-2014 DFOK Bag Tag League is intended to bring players of all skill levels together for friendly competition.
- Official DFOK Bag Tags cost $5 each and can only be purchased at official league events.
- The 2013-2014 Bag Tag league will be capped at a total of 100 bag tags.
- The 2013-2014 Bag Tags will be randomly issued, rather than in consecutive order, starting with tags 1– 50. After the first 50 tags are issued, tags 51-100 will be randomly issued.
- Tag holders will display their tag in plain sight while on any disc golf course.
- If a tag is lost, that number is out for the season. A new tag, with a new number, can be purchased by the player at the standard league price.
- Be courteous to other DFOK tag holders. Please neither harass people to play for tags, nor avoid playing in order to keep a tag.
- There will be one Bag Tag League event per week through June 25th, 2014. The official events will take place on Sunday afternoons until the start of Daylight Saving Time in the spring. After daylight savings time switches in the spring, league events will take place on Wednesday nights through June.
- Players can compete for DFOK Bag Tags outside of official league events, in casual challenges on any course, including during tournament play.
- When players compete for tags in casual rounds, tag holders must record their rounds on DiscGolfScene.com as soon as possible.
- Players possessing a Top 10 DFOK Bag Tag are strongly encouraged to compete in league events.
---- Bag Tag League EVENT Guidelines ----
- When arriving at a league event, players must check in FIRST. Players do so by reporting to the league table, filling out an official scorecard, then checking-in / purchasing their DFOK Bag Tag.
- Groups will be randomly selected. However, new players (their first league event) may be placed in a group with someone they know.
- New tags for new players, will be selected by random draw just before the league round begins.
- Official park rules must be observed during league events.
- PDGA rules of play should be followed during league events.
- If a player needs to leave during any round, their score will be a DNF (Did Not Finish) and they must take the highest numbered tag in play at that event.
- League rounds will typically be 18 holes. In times of poor weather conditions or shortened daylight, alternative course layouts may be played.
- After a league round is completed, players will total, double check & mark their scores within their group prior to turning in their score cards.
- Scorecards are placed in order by scores on the scoreboard with the scores clearly visible.
- Scoring ties will be resolved by a closest to the pin (CTP) sudden death play-off. The location of the play-off will be determined by the League Administrator.
- Tags are re-distributed according to scores. The player with the best score gets the lowest numbered tag, the player with the next best score gets the next lowest numbered tag, and so on.
- Do not leave with DFOK Bag Tags until the League Administrator gives the "okay". Early departures can cause scoring errors.
- The league schedule and results will be posted on the Disc Golf Scene web-site ( discgolfscene.com )
- League events may be canceled due to dangerous weather conditions. Cancellations will be based on Severe Weather Warnings issued by the National Weather Service. When in doubt, check the league’s main page as all pending cancelations will be posted there.
