Leverich Park Fans,

Mark Hedden, who volunteers several hours each week keeping our park looking great is working triple time this week to get ready for the Bad Monkey Tournament on Saturday and Sunday. If you are available please consider heading to the park at least one evening this week at 5pm and meet up with him in the first (south - hole 1) parking lot. Bring a rake and/or shovel to help spread some bark chips and help make our park one of the most well cared for parks around!

Also: Please note that due to the Bad Monkey Tournament the course will be closed to the general public from about 8am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.

This Saturday Ridgefield Washington is having a community service day at abrams park from 830 am until 12 ..There will be a couple pieces of heavy equipment (trackhoe) and quite a few volunteers helping out to finish the remaining teepads...as always when it's over they serve pizza and soda with a live band at the community center. I need a couple people just to help run things and any help at all is greatly appreciated ...please call me at 3606243583 if your interested in helping. ..Thankyou

Clark County is asking for YOUR input on the future of parks in Clark County. Please consider taking a couple hours of your day and attending one of three open houses sponsored by the Parks Department and give them your input on how they should improve their parks in the coming years.

Residents can meet with county officials, learn more about the process, get answers to their questions and provide written comments during a series of three open houses.
• 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, La Center Community Center, 1000 E. Fourth St., La Center.
• 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, Camas-Washougal Fire Station 42, 4321 N.W. Parker St., Camas.
• 5-7 p.m. Thursday, March 5, Three Creeks Community Library, 800-C N.E. Tenney Road, Salmon Creek.

I personally will be attending the one on Thursday, but if you can't make that one please consider going to one of the other open houses.

Alright people here's the deal. I had so much fun with the Stadium Putting League that I'm going to bring the baskets to Carter Park this Wednesday night around 6pm and set up another putting challenge. We'll have the same 6 baskets and 14 putts for a maximum of 100 points, but we'll be outdoors with real trees to putt around and real wind!

There will be NO FEE to participate and you can come anytime between 6:15ish and 8pm to throw your putts. You can throw as many rounds as you want as we'll be doing this in a more open house style. I still have a couple $25 gift certificates to give away as I see fit AND we'll do the drawing for the BMO entry for everyone that participated in the Stadium Putting League at 7pm.

Carter Park is located at the corner of 33rd Street and Washington Street just a few blocks west of Main Street and less than a mile from Leverich Park. Bring your putters and come work on your putts.
