BC3 Fall Classic
About this tournament
The BC3 Fall Classic is a 1-day, 2-round, PDGA-sanctioned (C-tier) tournament at the Brown County Country Club on Saturday, Oct 12th, 2019. This Pro and True Amateur event gives players a chance to compete during the colorful fall season in Brown County on the gorgeous BC3 course for a very reasonable entry fee!
And as a bonus, we'll play the same 2019 IN States Championship 21-hole layout at BC3, with one exception: all players will play hole #15 from the red tee. This is the 50/50 CTP hole for the day. All Pro divisions, MA1, and MA40 will play from blue tees. Novice will play 2 rounds of 21 holes from a mix of green/red tees. All other divisions will play from the red tees.
Pro payouts will be cash per PDGA guidelines, and Amateur division winners will receive trophies (no payout). Like most BC3 events, we will provide snacks, beverages, and lunch. Here’s how the entry fees break down:
Pros - $5 greens fees (for BC3 non-members only). $2 goes to PDGA. $2 goes towards defraying the cost of tournament (PDGA fee, amenities, etc.). Remaining portion of registration fee ($16/player) goes into payout pool for your division.
AMs - $5 greens fees (for BC3 non-members only). $2 goes to PDGA. Remaining fee is used to pay for division trophies, tournament expenses, and tournament amenities (lunch, snacks, beverages). There are no AM player’s packs or payouts.
Optional Ace Fund - $5 entry fee/player for the day. Fund pays out 100% to anyone hitting an ace. If multiple aces are hit, fund is divided among each. If no ACE is hit, throw off occurs on hole #4 Red tee to #4 basket. 60% payout to CTP player, and 40% to 2nd CTP player during throw off.
Optional 50/50 CTP Fund - $5 entry fee/player for the day. Fund pays 50% to the winning player (hole #15 from Red tee). Other 50% goes toward BC3 hole signs. .
Optional camping is available for those who wish to spend Fri and/or Sat night at BC3. $5/player or group with a player. Don’t miss another Shively bonfire!
