Classic northern michigan disc golf course. Tight, technical and wooded. most holes have a closed ceiling which makes you throw low accurate shots. There are many deucable holes, but there plenty of chances for bogeys if you get off the fairway. Good baskets with good placements leave fun putts.

I agree, cement tees would make an A+. Short, long, open, tight, up, down, this course has it all with plenty of natural beauty all around. This is one of my favorites. Again, trash is all around, carry a plastic bag and help cart out some trash!

I give this more love due to the fact that it has such horrible tees. With concrete, this course would border perfection when it comes to course design vs. land. A hidden wonder in a mildly visited course.

let's put in the cement pads and get an A rating. updated pads are in. now storm clean up. Update 2017. This is one of the most beautiful up north Michigan courses. Pads in. Benches in places. Course clean with trash bins at most tee pads.

Fun hills & woods with some open shots and hardly ever a wait on any hole. Great layout & elevation changes w/ good risk/reward factors. Definitely one of my all-time favorites now that we put cement teepads in!

Very nice 18 hole course on rolling hills and interesting shots. I liked it as there were only 3 or 4 holes over 300 feet which means this old arm has a chance. Nice concrete pads and signs. Very easy to follow but some baskets are not visible from Tee.

A great course but the rubber mats are terrible, would be better with natural tees. they are like ice!!! Would be nice if the park service or some locals were to put out some trash cans or pick up after the slobs who leave trash at almost every hole, people need to respect the beauty of nature and pack out what you take in!!!! Other than that it is a great place and I can't wait to play there again!

This course plays very well. While it does give a very wooded feeling, this course offers some holes out in the meadow. Great variety of doglegs, tight lines, elevation, and unique hole designs. Cement would help boost this course's rep. Loved the open area by hole 18, which made for a very good driving range.

Tough but fair. Live down state and was up in the area for a weekend getaway. Nice elevation changes and the woods are fun as long as you can see where your disc land. Finished +6 and was happy with that. Would play again.

Tee pads were rarely suitable. In fact, after hole #3, you would be better off avoiding them altogether. Few were level. All were either slippery with sand or mud, or they were 3'x3' squares. Elevation is the major obstacle at Myles Kimmerly; Death Putts abound. No mosquitos! Signage often exaggerated dog-leg curvature or otherwise failed to accurately represent the hole layout. I had to walk most holes just to gain general direction. Local score card is more forgiving than DGS. I was -2 on paper, DGS=+2.
Course played like a mini-Leviathan (Luddington, MI).

Absolutely fantastic course! This is a great piece of land, making for a beautiful course! Good range of shots, from 450 foot open shots, to 150 foot heavily wooded shots. Really tricky greens with lots of rocks and roots makes you really think about your putts before you throw. Pretty punishing setting as well. If you end up off of the fairway, the number of trees can make it quite difficult to make it back.

Definitely a gem of a course! Well worth the trek to Maple City!

My first time here yesterday and it's a terrific course. Well maintained. Signage on each hole with distance and layout. Plenty of benches. The course is moderately challenging with tight fairways and numerous elevations so high accuracy is required. A few holes have significant tree obstacles. I was able to weave between them mostly, although I popped a couple of distant ones. Some folks have complained about the potential to lose discs. My partners and I never came close to losing any, all fou ...

Wonderful course. Not another soul on the course on a Saturday afternoon. Great use of the elevation and area. Tee pads were fine, even wet. Only problem were the toolbag soccer parents. Has to be hundreds of parking spots in this park in the way of grass lots. 60 cars or so had this place a mess, parking across the lot entrances and virtually anywhere that could cause problems. Small irritation, worn away by the spectacular fall round here. Just another jewel in the crown of this areas disc golf scene.

This is in my top 5 courses statewide. Course is beautiful and fun. Nice mix of open bombers and shorter technical shots through the rolling hills in the woods. Some holes are deceptively easy, since a missed putt can roll 100' downhill. Love this course.

Really conflicted about rating this course this poorly. I would rate it F-, except for the fact that there is a beautiful park and surroundings that the course is set in. It is a BEAUTIFUL setting, amazing park connected to it, fields to practice throwing before you go out, and the setting is just amazing. Absolutely LOVE that! And I appreciate all the hard work that the Boy Scouts put into making it and anyone else that helps with the course. But, having said that, it's just heinous to try and ...
