United States Amateur Disc Golf Match Play Singles Bracket-OAK HARBOR
About this tournament
Come experience competitive disc golf in a different way!!
Participate in the 2022 Dynamic Discs USAMPC bracket where each hole is its own entity, and the goal is to win more holes than your opponent.
Match Play is scored by who won the hole, not by total strokes. For example, if player A scores a 2 on hole one and player B scores a 3, player A is 1up. If player A scores a 3 on hole two and player B scores a 6, player is A is now 2up, If player A scores a 5 on hole three and player B scores a 4, player A is back to 1up. The match would end when one player was up my more holes than there are left to play. So if player A was 4up with only three holes to play, the match would be over.
Each bracket will accept 8 players who will face off in one on one match play matches.
Once the Bracket is full, the bracket will be completed using a random generator to assign the matches.
The player who wins the bracket qualifies for the Nationals in Emporia, Kansas.
We'll use the one weekend format.
Saturday Morning – 4 matches take place (8 players)
Saturday Afternoon – 2 matches take place (4 players)
Sunday Morning – 1 match take place (2 players)
All players registered as an amateur with the PDGA are eligible. Players registered as a professional are eligible if their rating is under 970.
The player pack consists of a brand new mold, the prime moonshine culprit and a triple burst Fuzion ballista pro.
This event will be held at Fort Nugent Park in Oak Harbor.
