Tikiween's Discraft Ace Race

Costume Contest - Great prizes for most original costume.
Basket Decorating Contest - Sign up to host a basket! Great prize for most original decorated basket (and tee pads)

Food afterwards from C.R. Chicks!

Format:
One Round of 20 holes. However, each player will throw two shots at the basket. This will equal two rounds. Players are required to use the player package discs, and only these discs. If a disc is lost, they may retrieve the thrown disc and throw their second shot. Only drives count. No second shot or putting. Groups of up to six players are accepted. All players should have their own scorecards and mark "A" for aces and "M" for holes on which they hit metal. Scoring formats may vary slightly at TD discretion.

After all players in the group have thrown, discs are picked up and the group moves directly to the next tee. Players keep their scorecards their second shot/round, using the next line on the card to record the round.

The player with the most aces after 40 holes is declared the winner. In case of ties, the number of metal hits is used as a tie breaker. If a tie persists, an approach-length closest to the pin contest is then used to determine the event winner.

Course layout:
Tiki Course at PGA National Park, with some minor adjustments to some holes, which are generally between 130 and 225 feet.

Entry fee: $30

Player package:
All 2019 players received two identical Discraft prototype discs made especially for this year's Ace Race, plus snap cap mini, a premium disc golf towel, backpack and sports bottle. A $75 value, all included with your entry fee!

Rules of play:
Players are required to use the player package discs, and only these discs. If a disc is lost, the player has the option of using the second disc from the package. Only one throw per player per hole. All players should have their own scorecards and mark "A" for aces (a hole-in-one) and "M" for holes on which they hit metal.

After all players in the group have thrown, discs are picked up and the group moves directly to the next tee. Players keep their scorecards for round two, using the next line on the card to record the round.

The player with the most aces after 40 holes is declared the winner. In case of ties, the number of metal hits is used as a tie breaker. If a tie persists, a closest to the pin contest is then used to determine the event winner.
