Welcome back for the 2023 Sunstein Open at 501 Disc Golf Course, in Warren MA!
Similar to last this year we will have different divisions playing over the 3 day Memorial Day weekend (May 27-29), at the beautiful 501 Disc Golf Course. One big change this year will be that the Ladies day will be Saturday, Mens Amateur day will be Sunday, and MPO will be Monday! Everyone will be playing at least 18 holes playing blues first round followed by a new layout playing blues evens, greens odds.

Sunstein LLP is the featured sponsor, and will be contributing at least $750 in added cash to the event. For the sunstein series this will be only 2X Multiplier for the select tourneys we will be keeping points for this year!
Schedule is as Follows:
1) Saturday May 27th - Ladies Divisions
2) Sunday May 28th - All Mens Amateur Divisions
3) Monday May 29th - MPO Division
Sunstein Grand Prix Finale Players are automatically awarded an invite and will be added as registrants to the tourney being held at Maple Hill on October 21 2023.
Layouts:
1st Round Blues (7400, par 59) Par Rating = 970 ish
2nd Round Greens Odds Blues Evens.
This will be a Shotgun Start playing 2 different layouts
No Players Meeting will be held
PDGA Electronic Scoring will be used (email will be sent week of for access details and course rules)
No 2 Meter Rule in Effect
Pros Playing for Cash Winnings (PayPal)
All OB will be Observed
If in doubt, Take A Provisional!
Preliminary schedule:
8:00 AM - Registration opens
8:55 AM - Check In cutoff. If not checked in, will be declared a NO SHOW
9:15 AM - Round 1
12:00 PM - Lunch (On your own, quick turnaround, will end no later than 45 minutes after last card)
1:30 PM - Round 2
4:45 PM - Awards/Refreshments by Bent Water Brewing Company & Sunstein!
All professional players receiving cash payouts will be paid electronically within 24 hrs.
We do plan to have some sorta of award ceremony for podium finishes so feel free to stay around and watch them get showered with champagne and flowers!
Disc Golf 978 will also be around, along with Greatest Media Team, as well as other media partners so stick around :)

We will make use of the PDGA live scoring. Cards will shuffle between rounds one and two based on place. An announcement will be made by email and on the tournament FB page to indicate round 2 start time. Hole assignments will be updated on the PDGA tournament site.

The Massachusetts Grand Prix will take place on October 21st at the world's number one rated disc golf course, Maple Hill.
Similar to last year the Massachusetts Grand Prix will be a finale based event where thirty-two total invites will be sent, and Sunstein LLP is guaranteeing a minimum of $1000 cash to be added to the pro player purse.
There will be one winner in each of the MPO, FPO, MA1, and FA1 divisions in a stroke play event. The winners of the MA1 & FA1 division will receive a championship trophy!
