About this tournament

The Rocky Mountain State Games (RMSG) is a multi-sport festival for athletes of all ages and athletic abilities including those with physical disabilities or visual impairment. Recognized by the National Congress of State Games, a member of the United States Olympic Committee, the 2017 Rocky Mountain State Games will be held July 21-23 & 28-30, primarily in Colorado Springs, CO.

The Rocky Mountain State Games is excited to announce its partnership with the Rocky Mountain Senior Games to co-host 10 Senior Games sports in conjunction with State Games competitions and grow participation in senior and master divisions for athletes ages 50+ years old.

This event is sanctioned by the Professional Disc Golf Association and PDGA rules (pdga.com/rules) will govern the competition. Professional Disc Golf Association Membership is required for this event, non-members will be charged an extra $10 for main event entry. Each player will play 1 round (18 holes per round) in the morning and 1 round in the afternoon with the putting and distance competitions taking place during the lunch break in between rounds. Amateur players can play up, professional players cannot play down. Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded to the top three places in each division. Ties will go into sudden death playoff. RMSG Commissioner reserves the right to adjust the divisions players participate in and combine or cancel divisions based on the number of registrations.

Inclement Weather: The Commissioner and/or RMSG Staff reserve the right to postpone or cancel the competition in the event of lightning or unsafe weather.

The Aviary Disc Golf Course, off East Las Vegas St. near the El Pomar Youth Sports Complex (2212 Executive Circle), Colorado Springs

Competition Schedule:
Sunday, July 23
8:00 a.m. - Day of Registration & Athlete Check-in
9:00 a.m. - Player Meeting
9:30 a.m. - Round 1 Competition Begins
Field Events (Putting & Driving Contests) will begin 1 hour after last card is turned in from Round 1.
TBD - Round 2 Competition will begin after field events conclude

Military Support Program: The Military Support Program has been created to allow active duty and retired service members, their spouses and dependents to participate in the Rocky Mountain State Games at up to a 50% discount off the normal registration fees.
