RODNOC XII!
About this tournament
Get ready for the silliest, craziest and most awesome day of disc golf you have ever had!!!! Who's ready for RODNOC 12?!!! RODNOC is CONDOR spelled backwards, in honor of John Bird who has given so much to the disc golf community and the Bird's Nest Disc Golf Course.
Every year we get together on the last Saturday in October to wear our Halloween costumes and play super silly disc golf! ALL ABILITY LEVELS ARE ENCOURAGED TO COME OUT AND PLAY! Bring out your friends and family members...especially the kids! If you've never played in a disc golf tournament, that's totally OK, because this is the least serious and most fun kind of tournament you could imagine.
Each hole has a unique and crazy twist! None of the 18 holes are "traditional" type of disc golf holes. Think silly....like playing an entire hole with a rubber chicken kind of silly or launching your disc from a giant slingshot! The only muscles that will be sore after this tournament will be your cheek muscles from laughing so much! This is the kind of tournament that reminds us all why we started playing disc golf, for the fun of it!
Let's try to get at least 100 players this year! THIS TOURNAMENT WILL ACCEPT ALL THAT WANT TO PLAY! Pre-registration is appreciated, but if you'd like to sign up to play the day of, that's totally cool, too. Our goal is to continue to raise funds for the Birds Nest Disc Golf Course! Previous years funds have gone toward the construction of the new hole 7 pin placement, and now that the city is officially done with their work Tee Pads for Hole 4 and others are coming VERY SOON! New this year, we have raised registration prices by $5, and every penny of that additional $5 will go the Winter Warriors/Ice Bowl Food bank of the Rockies fundraising efforts!
So grab a costume, invite a friend and bring out your family to join us! Every registration of the first 100 players will receive a custom RODNOC XII Dynamic Discs Disc and a Rubber Chicken key-chain!
There will be a Ring of Fire for prizes, an Ace Race into the Bunch O' Baskets for prizes, an Ace Pool for prizes and the champion of each division will get a one of a kind, hand made, super cool trophy!
DIVISIONS:
APPLES: Pro and Advanced disc golfers
ORANGES: Intermediate and Recreational players
BANANAS: Juniors boys, 12 & under
STRAWBERRIES: Junior girls, 12 & under
MELONS: Lady players
NON-PLAYING SUPPORTER: Will receive a Players' Pack and our undying gratitude!
