About this tournament

The 9th Annual Pam B. Childs Memorial presented by Latitude 64 will be hosted at the International Disc Golf Center on Saturday, November 19th, 2016.

This is a unique TRUE AMATEUR fundraiser event where all players will receive a player pack, provided lunch, and a ticket to our raffle that will feature gifts that have been donated to the event to assist in raising money for our charity beneficiaries. In previous years, this event has raised nearly $50,000 for the Ronald McDonald House of Augusta and Toys for Tots!!

For 2016, this event will benefit two new charities; Sisters by Heart and The Wier Family.

Sisters by Heart is a non-profit volunteer run organization that provides support, education, and empowerment to families affected by Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) - from initial diagnosis and beyond. For more information about this organization, please visit their website in the link below.

Charlie and Clare Wier have been a part of the Augusta disc golf family for more years than many of us have been disc golfing. This family has devoted numerous hours toward helping our disc golf community. From helping out on work days to sponsoring holes during events, they are always happy to support us. You have probably even seen the artwork Charlie has provided for many of our events. Earlier this year, Charlie Jr. was born with a single ventricle heart defect, resulting in a growing number of hospital expenses. The Augusta Disc Golf Community could not think of a better family to support through these tough times. If you are interested in donating to the Wier Family before this event, please visit the link below.
