ORC Disc Golf Classic
About this tournament
MARK YOUR CALENDARS! The Ottawa Recreation Commission is proud to present the ORC Disc Golf Classic on August 18th at Kanza Disc Golf Course in Ottawa, KS!
This is a non-sanctioned tournament of two rounds of 18 and we will be playing by PDGA Rules.
The registration fee is $25 and includes a complementary tournament disc. Registration is limited to the first 70 players! All proceeds go towards the ORC Youth Program Scholarship Fund! Those registered by August 3 are guaranteed a complementary tournament disc.
Divisions for the tournament are as follows: Advanced Men, Advanced Women, Recreational Men, Recreational Women, Junior 18 Boys, Junior 12 Boys, Junior 18 Girls, Junior 12 Girls. Divisions of 3 or less could possibility be combined. This will be determined on a division by division case basis.
This is a great introductory for those who may want to learn how to play in tournaments along with those seasoned veterans who play in tournaments regularly!
On the 18th, there will be a player meeting and check in at 7:30 am followed by a shotgun start at 8:00 am. We anticipate that the second round will begin at approximately 12:30 pm.
