NC Match Play Tour Championship
About this tournament
Welcome to the NC Match Play Tour Championship!! This event will be a singles format using match play scoring and played at East Clayton DGC in Clayton, NC.
Congratulations to those that qualified during one of our 8 events across the state!!!
For those signing up for this event that didn't qualify in another event: Pro Men, Pro Women, and Pro Master entry fees are $25 and 100% go to cash payout. Am Men, Am Women, and Am Master entry fees are $25 and you will receive a player pack including a custom disc, towel, hat and sportsack. The player pack value is over $45. Every division winner will receive a trophy.
Format:
You will play a 6 hole match against each of your cardmates on Saturday morning. We will break for lunch and sort the divisions based on record, using holes won as a tie breaker. You will play a 6 hole match against each of your cardmates Saturday afternoon. Same process for Sunday morning. After lunch will be the Final, with the top 4 in each division playing an 18 hole match using Irish Match Play rules. In Irish Match Play, whoever wins a hole outright gets 2 points. If there is a tie on the hole, everyone who tied gets 1 point.
