Mountain Maryland Doubles Championship
About this tournament

PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED
Inclement weather date: Saturday, March 16. This is a non-sanctioned event.
Format
- Round 1 - Best shot (cap 2 consecutive drives per player) (up to 24 holes)
- Round 2 - Combined score (18 holes)
Scoring
- Plan A is uDisc (1 person per card)
- Plan B is paper back-ups (as needed)
Results
- Total score for each team: Round 1 + Round 2
- No ties for top 3 in any division
Divisions
- Divisions based primarily on registered players
- Goal is to have Men’s Advanced, Men’s Rec, Women’s Adv, Women's Rec, Youth (Boys and Girls separate, as applicable) and Mixed
- Minimum 2 teams per category (or subject to be moved into another division)
- "Mixed" or be Male/Female, or Adult/Youth.
- Divisions with 5 or more teams will be assigned to Tier 1 or Tier 2 (Adv or Rec) based on Round 1 results.
Awards
- Trophies and/or gift certificates to Marshall Street Disc Golf
- 3 deep in each official division (where possible)
- Will not be mailed

- Round 1 is at Central Assembly of God DGC, 2020 Bedford St., Cumberland, Md.
- Round 2 is at Hoffman Park DGC, 11200 Hoffman Hollow Rd, Frostburg, Md.

Cost
- $25 per player (includes CTPs, putting contest, distance contest but not ace pot(s)). Players can register as an individual (and ask us to help find a partner) or sign up with a known teammate in mind.
- Entry (and completion of at least one round) includes lifetime membership into the Allegany County Disc Golf Club. No annual dues.

- Payable (cash only) on site prior to start of each round
- If no ace hit in Round 1, ace pot will roll over to Round 2
- If multiple aces are hit (by those who pay in) in a given round, ace pot will be shared equally
TD Special
If you are a Tournament Director and are interested in participating in this event, please reach out to the TD about a "TD Exchange" option in which free entries of similar value are traded among TDs. This is just one way the ACDGC helps to support the efforts of area TDs.

Refund policy
Allegany County Disc Golf Club is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. No refunds on or after Feb. 27, 2024. However, substitutes permitted at player's burden.
