Mcclain Nightmare Before Discmas Triples 2020
About this tournament
Our Nightmare Before Discmas holiday triples tournament at Mcclain is back for the 4th straight year!
Same format- afternoon round followed by a night round, best shot all the way through except this time is a 14 day flex start!
The first 14 days of December will be your window to play with your team of three players and one other team of 3 players in either the open or am division.
I encourage everyone to coordinate with other teams and cards and meet out there and start on different holes like a regular tournament, however, please be safe and remember social distancing procedures. Unfortunately we can't all 100 plus players and spectators show up on the same day like in years past this time. But we can still do this in a safe and fun manner!
Cost is $90 per team. Open is playing for cash with a 100% payout as always. Standard top 30% of the field gets paid. Ams will get players packs in value of $40 per player each. There will be custom discs with specific artwork like in years past! The players from each winning team will receive custom trophies in both divisions!
Layouts:
Afternoon round is OG boxes, which is short concrete pads EXCEPT 1,5,and 13- those are the long boxes, including 13, which rarely gets played anymore I feel like.
Night round is a mix of concrete boxes and night boxes, which are marked with orange or glow paint and/or orange flags. The layout is as follows:
1 short concrete
2 night box- trees with paint
3 night box
4 short concrete
5 short concrete
6 ALTERNATE concrete(to the right)
7 short concrete
8 night box to the right of yucca plant
9 night box
10 night box
11 short concrete
12 short concrete
13 short concrete
14 night box
15 night box
16 short concrete
17 night box
18 night box at the end of the concrete drainage ditch
Players packs for am division players unfortunately will not be ready for at least a few weeks (You may use your own discs as usual) but you know I'll make sure they're hooked up proper, with SWEET Discmania plastic!
