May Match Play

Black & White presents May Match Play, one of the first sanctioned events by the Michigan Match Play Association. By participating in this event each player can earn points towards the Michigan Match Play Chuampionships that are being held at Big Bend on June 29th.

This tournament will consist of two rounds of match play singles. The first round will be random opponents and the second round will be arranged by rankings. For those that are unfamiliar with match play rules each hole is worth 2 points. The winner of the hole gets 2 points and if the hole is tied each player gets 1 point. Handicaps will be based on player ratings.

There will be a limited field for this tournament so make sure you register, there will be a cashless registration but that will only count as a waiting list and will not guarantee a spot on a card.

The cost of the tournament is $25 and the first 10 registrants will receive a free custom dyed disc for the tourney. More may be made available and an announcement will be made on the talk board in this case. All payouts will be made in cash.

The winner of the tournament will receive a berth to the Michigan State Finals.
