The Magnolia Open presented by Innova

The 8th Annual Magnolia Open will be hosted at the IDGC on October 15th & 16th. This is a WOMEN ONLY event that was founded in 2009 to create an event that truly brings women's disc golf to the spotlight. Everyone wants to see more ladies on the course, and this event is designed to provide not only a competitive tournament, but also an overall fun weekend of camping and making new friends.

Once per year, the IDGC allows visitors to camp right on the IDGC property free of charge. That weekend is The Magnolia Open. All participants are allowed to set up tents on our property for a free weekend of camping. There are also campsites located inside Wildwood Park with power and water, however these spots are not included with your entry fee. If you plan on camping on the IDGC property, please speak with a staff member before staking in your tent. We have irrigation lines that we do not want to turn in to fountains.

Course Schedule
Round 1 - Jim Warner, Short Tees
Round 2 - "Steady" Ed Headrick, Short Tees
Round 3 - "Steady" Ed Headrick, Long Tees
--Competitors are welcome to tee off from the short tees on water holes throwing 3 during the round on Headrick Long Tees.

Trophies have been ordered for the following divisions based on registration numbers as of 10-11-16:
- 1st Place FPO
- 1st Place FPM
- 1st Place FA1
- 2nd Place FA1
- 1st Place FA2
- 2nd Place FA2
All other divisions will receive a Magnolia Open Fundraiser Disc for 1st Place.

Lunch and dinner will both be provided for Saturday. We will be offering a build your own sandwich bar for lunch, and will be grilling Hamburgers and Hot Dogs for dinner. Chips and a drink will be offered with both meals.. There will be fruit and other snacks provided for breakfast both Saturday and Sunday. Caddies and spectators are welcome to purchase a lunch on Saturday for $5 per person. (Cash Only)

- There will be multiple FREE CTPs offered
- Debbie Scott will be running the Mixed Doubles

- 3 Hole Mini Golf Course

There will be a silent auction with some great discs. The silent auction will open at 3 pm on Friday, and remain open until 10 minutes after the last card has been turned in for the final round. Must be present at awards to receive silent auction item.

Throw Pink has donated a DISCatcher Traveler Basket to be raffled off this weekend. All participants will receive 1 raffle ticket in their player pack. Extra tickets will be available for purchase to increase your chances of winning this awesome prize! Extra raffle tickets will be $1 each, or 6 tickets for $5. Must be present at awards to win raffle.

Ace Pool
If no aces are hit during tournament play, there will be a throw off to decide a winner immediately following the final round.
