2nd rd at New Melle Lakes

All Open/Adv fields play from LONG tees BOTH days
All Adv Masters/Int/Rec play from SHORT tees BOTH days

Will be on tee times starting between 730-8. Tee times will be posted on FB page and will try to post here as well the day before the tournament

Dear Player,

Thank you for signing up and supporting the 2019 Midwest Showdown. The tournament doesn’t happen without players and for that I say THANK YOU. I would like to also say CONGRATULATIONS on being apart of the largest PDGA sanctioned event in St Charles County. This is the 4th year of this event and it has gotten bigger every year to what it is now with 140 players, playing in 9 different divisions, aging from Juniors to MA60. This post will inform you of some of the tournament sponsors and people that have helped make sure the tournament goes smoothly for you this coming weekend. Also, some things that you should expect on Saturday and Sunday.

First I’d like to thank everyone at Legacy Discs… Steve Rico, Bamba Rico, Freddie Sotelo, Austin Peopke and Raf Villafana. These guys work tirelessly pouring concrete during the day and then go to the factory and work late nights to pump out some of the sexiest plastic in the game.
Next is the ENTIRE St Charles County Disc Golf Club and surrounding area disc golfers. You all raised an OUTSTANDING $3611 through the DG 50/50 at the area events this past year. For that, I am forever grateful for each and every one of you for the support to raise the money the past year. With this great amount of generosity comes an awesome players pack & some awesome payouts, that will have you looking forward to coming back next year.

Saturday, May 11 for the 1st round at Indian Camp Creek DGC we will meet at Shelter #5. If you drive in to the park you will drive towards the back and follow the one way road almost all the way around until the you see the large shelter on the left hand side.

I expect everyone to be checked in and at the pavilion 15 minutes prior to your tee time to discuss course rules for the day and for any questions. If you are not there by then there are currently 7 people on the waitlist. My cell number is 636-383-0570 if you need to reach me.

ALL groups will start on Hole #2 which will help as you will end on Hole 1 back at the pavilion.

On Sunday May 12th we will meet in the parking lot at New Melle, I will be where Smokin Aces is setup. Please be checked in and present in that area 10 minutes prior to your tee time and we will go over course rules for the day and any questions that need to be answered.

Awards & Payouts will be awarded after last MPO card is finished. I understand it Mother’s Day on Sunday and will be doing scores as soon as they come in and will do my best to get you paid as quickly as possible.
