The Razz Round will feature 21 holes at Laurelain Disc Golf Course. There will be three temp holes set up after 17. These temp holes will be identified as A, B, and C. All pins will be located in the short positions on all other holes. Some holes will have mini games or prizes associated with them (there will be a sign at these holes reminding the players and explaining the rules of the mini game). WE encourage all players to come out and support a great cause and also family and friends to come out a form a distracting and noisy gallery!
For players the general entry fee is $20, there is no player cap, spectators can make a donation of their choosing. All money raised will go to Friends of Jaclyn Foundation to help in their mission to better the lives of children living with pediatric cancers.
While this is an unsanctioned event there will be a small players’ pack. Players will receive a Friends of Jaclyn support bracelet and will sign a banner that we will be sending back to them that they will hang in their main office. Player’s will also receive two raffle tickets: one for the inaugural first card and one for giveaways (additional raffle tickets may be purchased).
Players are encouraged to dress up for this event in costumes or crazy clothing styles. Also noise makers and distraction is highly encouraged on every throw, anything goes!!! The goal is to distract on every throw. However, we ask that you please refrain from anything that may be offensive as we will be shooting video of the round to send to Friends of Jaclyn.
There will be various trophies up for grabs. These include: First Place, Somewhere in the Middle Place, Last Place, Best Costume, Best Razz, Best Spectator, Longest Drive with A Mini, Straightest Drive, Highest Score On A Single Hole, Chain Out Champion, Loudest Player, Piñata Breaker, and Mini Putt Champion.
Mulligans will be available to buy!!!
The Layout as mentioned will be the short pin layout. Here are the holes with games or prizes:
Hole 1: longest drive with a mini (trophy)
Hole 3: CTP (prize)
Hole 6: straightest drive (trophy)
Hole 8: dice roll and throw
Hole 16: piñata hole (trophy) yes there will be a piñata to hit on your drive!
Hole A: ace run hole $$$
Hole C: minis only to mini basket and longest mini putt (trophy)
Post round:
There will be a CTP if the ace run hole is not hit for half the ace pot!
Raffle tickets will be drawn for players to choose a prize. Will you get something awesome or RAZZED!?
Last two raffle draws will be for the mini basket and the ace run basket (MVP Precision Basket)!!!
