Lakeview Bracket - 2018 United States Amateur Match Play Championships
About this tournament
18 holes of Match Play disc golf. 16 people will be randomly paired up and will play against each other using very slightly modified PDGA Match Play Rules. (Exceptions include 1) no Official need accompany each group, and 2) all ties will be broken by sudden death playoff beginning on the hole you started on.)
This is the Lakeview local qualifier for the USAMPC Presented by Dynamic Discs. The winner of this event will advance to compete in the State Championship bracket, and the winner of that will compete in the National Championship, where the winner will receive a prize package worth $20,000.
This event will consist of 4 rounds of single-elimination match play disc golf at Soroptimist Park Disc Golf Course. If you win your match, you move on!
Sweet players pack includes 2 discs custom stamped for this event, one from Dynamic Discs and the other from Latitude 64!
Prizes:
First Place- Trophy Disc, $100 online credit to Dynamic Discs, invite to compete in state bracket
Second Place- Jr. Trophy Disc, $50 online credit to Dynamic Discs
Third Place- Trophy Mini, $25 online credit to Dynamic Discs
This event is open to:
-Current PDGA members with a rating 969 or below
-Non-Current PDGA members who have never been rated 970 or above
-Non-PDGA members
A UDisc app will randomize players for the first round.
