High Plains Challenge 2020

We at Elevated Disc Golf with Tom Hamilton have taken over the High Plains Challenge in partnership with the Mile High Disc Golf Club!

UPDATE 6/10/20
I know I said we would know by Today if HPC was happening but my conversation with the Health Department has delayed that to Friday the 12th. That date is our final cut off to know if we can host HPC 2020. 
We hope to bring you good news by Friday but we will be in contact.

UPDATE 5/29/2020
YES, PDGA events are allowed in Colorado again! We are in contact with Ft. Morgan to determine how and if we can proceed with the event.

UPDATE 5/24/2020
We are currently waiting on the State to announce approvals of events/sporting gatherings. At that time we will work with the PDGA State Coordinator to get Sanctioned events approved for Colorado. THEN, we will work with Ft. Morgan to see what we can do to host this event. Thank you all for your patience and I look forward to good news soon!

We are exploring formats that would allow this event to continue within State and local guidelines.

UPDATE
We are hopeful that we will be able to hold High Plains Challenge this year. To make sure players are taken care of if the event is unable to go on we will be going with Stock Stamp player pack to ensure we can order as close to the event as possible in case a cancellation is needed. Unless conditions change and allow us to order custom stamped and branded merchandise for our players packs. Thank you!

This year competitors will compete over 3 days of competition and 3 rounds of play. Friday will feature a late morning/early afternoon tee timed round at Optimist for Pool A and Pessimist for Pool B. Saturday tee times starting at 8am, Pessimist for Pool A and Optimist for Pool B, Sunday all pools will be tee times starting at 7:30am on a Longer and more Challenging Optimist Layout.

We are modifying the Optimist Layout from previous years. The course itself will be a shorter form of previous HPC layouts for both Friday and Saturday Rounds. On Sunday we will bring the longer more challenging layout in play with Pro and Am (MA50 and Below) Tee pads through the course.

Please note this year we are not considered a USDGC Qualifier, we hope to change that for 2021

Mile High Disc Golf is responsible for all refunds/cancelations. The event follows all PDGA rules and guidelines for refunds. All drops up to 14 days prior to the event are subject to a $10 fee, all drops within 14 days of the event are subject to a $10 fee and spot able to be filled prior to any refund. Waitlist fee non-refundable.
