F*ck Cancer Fundraiser benefiting Christy
About this tournament
Deep Creek Dreams is hosting a F*CK CANCER fundraising tournament and Brunswick Stew on December 19th.
Many who have played an event at Deep Creek Dreams over the past couple years have been blessed by meeting the owners of the course, Ross and his amazing fiance, Christy. Christy's contagious smile and overall positive energy have been a welcome addition to the Deep Creek family. It's time for us to return the good vibes and positive energy. Over the past couple months Christy has learned that she has a rare form of Cancer, and is not going to be able to go back to work, any time soon. With bills piling up and a fight ahead of us, this is the right thing to do.
We are raising money, prayers, and good vibes for Christy; and we are going to love and support her as she kicks Cancer's ass!!!!!
You know how we do it at Deep Creek, we will be having a raffle with a ton of great stuff, with the grand prize being a pull behind pop-up Camper!!!!!
Other than playing, how can you help?
You can help us sell some Brunswick stew to your family and friends.
We will be putting together to-go quarts for sale, so let's get some pre-paid/pre-sale orders going, you can start taking those today with an expected delivery of Sunday 12/20. Quarts will be sold for $8, start getting those orders together so we know if we need 1 or 2 cauldrons of Brunswick Stew.
Now to the tournament, the format of the event will be one round. Rec and Women will play all shorts. The rest will play a mix of shorts and longs.
Check in will open at 830am, tee time will be 1030am.
This is a trophy-only event, with a bunch of CTP's and raffle prizes, including a pop-up Camper!!!!!!
