Discin' with DelFest Flex Tournament (May 23-27)
About this tournament
A low-key, non-sanctioned event from Thursday, May 23 through 8 p.m. Monday, May 27 at Hoffman Park DGC in Frostburg, Maryland. Hoffman Park DGC is the first and only public disc golf course in Allegany County.

One round round of 18 holes (two loops of the nine-hole course). Players ages 8 and below should complete only one loop of nine holes.
This is meant to be a fun companion to the awesome annual DelFest event for both locals and visitors to enjoy. Hoffman Park DGC had lots of first-timers during DelFest last year.
The tournament is ridiculously cheap. There'll be no pageantry. There might be a bottle of water available at the first tee pad. Sign up. Don't. Whatever.
RULES
- PDGA rules apply.
- Though a non-sanctioned tournament, all participants are expected to abide by the spirit of all PDGA rules in helping to provide a welcoming, nurturing, and educational competitive environment.
- Experienced players are to be supportive of newer players while maintaining the integrity of the competitive format.
REGISTRATION
- $5 per player
- Players should provide true first and last name, gender, age, and city/state of residence during online registration process.
- Registration must be completed before the start of a player's tournament round.
- Event dates are May 23-27. Due to limitations of the Disc Golf Scene platform, we had to make the dates as they appear in order to keep online registration open throughout the event period.
- This event reserves the right to reject any entry, for any reason.
FORMAT
- Singles play
- One round of 18 holes (two loops of 9 holes each)
- Only one round per person
- Minimium two players per card
- Players ages 8 and younger should complete only one loop of 9 holes (leave the scores for the other nine holes blank)
SCORING
- Use the uDisc app (free version is fine)
- Every player must create a free uDisc account
- At least one person on each card must keep score using the free version of uDisc.
- Each player must ensure his/her visible name is true and correct first and last name.
- Minimum two players per card.
- Open uDisc
- Under the events tab, choose "ACDGC 2024 - Discin' with DelFest"
- Each player will "check in"
- One player on each card will create the scorecard.
- Scores must be recorded while play is in progress (each score must be inputted prior to the start of the next hole).
ADULT DIVISIONS
- Divisions based on PDGA rating.
- RPA Gold is for those with a rating of 970 or higher
- RAH Blue: 935-969 (Pro)
- RAD White: 900-934 (Advanced)
- RAE Red: 850 - 899 (Intermediate)
- RAF Green: 800 - 849 (Recreational)
- RAG Purple: 0 - 799 (Novice)
- For players without a PDGA rating, please pick the division that best applies to you. More info on that here:

- If in doubt, contact the TD before the start of your round.
- If there are not two or more players in a particular division, the TD will move players into an appropriate division.
YOUTH DIVISIONS
- Age is based on what age the player is ON EVENT DAY, not what age the player will turn later this year (which would be the case under PDGA rules). For example, a player 12 years old on May 27 but who turns 13 at any time in 2024 can still play in MJ12/FJ12 for this event.
- If there are not two or more players in a particular division, the TD will move players into an appropriate division.
- Players ages 8 and younger should complete only one loop of nine holes.
- Experienced youth players can choose to play in the appropriate adult amateur division.
AWARDS
- The goal is to have at least two players in each division by the end of the event. If not, the club reserves the right to move a player to a different division even after a player's round is completed.
- Adult divisions will be separated by gender (male/female)
- Prizes (merch bucks or commemorative discs) to division winners.
- Winners need not be present on May 27 to accept award. Merch bucks will be emailed and/or discs will be mailed.

Refund policy
Registration open(s)/(ed) May 19, and the event is from May 23-27. Due to time constraints, no refunds will be issued. Reach out to the event TD/Allegany County Disc Golf Club with questions.
