About this tournament

Check in will be from about 8:30 to 9:45.There will be a quick players meeting at 9:45 or a little before, then 2 rounds of 18 played back to back on the shortened layout. Awards and prizes after all scores are turned in, checked and any ties broken.

This year we're allowing kids 13 and under to play for FREE if the paid adult bringing them lets them use one of the 2 discs they receive. Kids will be playing for their own 1st Place Prize Package of discs and merchandise. Prizes for this kid division will be from donations. If you have donations, you can contact Chris, Bob or Craig before or just bring them along the day of. Depending on donations, prizes may be given out for 2nd, 3rd or even deeper but nice 1st place prize is guaranteed.

For all that want to stay for the day, a $5.00 random draw doubles will take place after a short lunch break.

Sanford Lake Park does have a $12.00 gate fee for non district visitors but by October they should have free entry. Updates will be posted well before that day. Car pool to save $$$$$

Once you've registered and paid you accept the Discraft Ace Race Players pack as full and complete reimbursement of entry fee, REGARDLESS if you are able to play or not.

Player package:
All 2018 players received two identical Discraft prototype discs made especially for this year's Ace Race, plus a lanyard, a premium disc golf towel, hat, and mini. All included with your entry fee!

Rules of play:
Players are required to use the player package discs, and only these discs. If a disc is lost, the player has the option of using the second disc from the package. Only one throw per player per hole. All players should have their own scorecards and mark "A" for aces (a hole-in-one) and "M" for holes on which they hit metal.

The player with the most aces after 36 holes is declared the winner. In case of ties, the number of metal hits is used as a tie breaker. If a tie persists, a closest to the pin contest is will be used to determine the event winner.

Grand Prize: Tournament backpack, SuperColor winners disc, towel and mini.
2nd Place: 3 discs, towel and mini.
3rd Place:* 1 disc, towel and mini.

Refund policy

Once registered and paid you accept the players package as full reimbursement regardless of whether you play or not.
