2nd Annual Amherst Community Foundation Disc Golf Tournament
About this tournament
Hello Everyone,
Norma and Bill Bruce of Breakin Chains Disc Golf Supplies will be the TDs' for this tournament. The tournament is put on by the Amherst Community Foundation . This is the Old Home Day Celebration in Amherst and we hope you will come out and play a round with us and then maybe go to the town square and check out the celebration.
There will be lots of activities going on all day and food also.
There will be lots of $$ prizes to be had as well as a nice disc for all players commemorating the tournament. The Disc is still to be determined at this time.
We hope to have refreshments available to you and who knows what else there might be for goodies in the morning before play. This was a great success last year and we hope to see you and your friends out there.
Prizes will be awarded to: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, Winning team, Rec Players 18-13 and 12 and under. There will be a CTP Prize on a certain hole to be chosen by the TDs. We will also be offing an Ace Pot to be given if an Ace is hit There will be no playoff for the Ace Pot $$. I will publish the prize amounts ASAP.
Special thanks to all the folks who volunteer to help put these tournaments on and also a big shout out to the Amherst Community Foundation for all their work with the town of Amherst. Thank you to the Amherst Parks and Rec Dept , (Craig Fraley and his crew) for all you do to provide this great course for the community to enjoy.
