About this tournament
Welcome to the 24th annual Windy River Open.
3 rounds- 2 day event.
AMs only will receive a players pack of a disc and t-shirt.
Script payout for the AMs divisions, cash payout for pro.
Day 1 (Saturday) -
Round 1 will play a long layout.
Lunch intermission
Round 2 will play a short layout.
Day 2 (Sunday) -
Round 3 will play a long layout.
Intermission for scoring
Award ceremony at our title sponsor Kimo's, following the round. Get some food and drinks. Family friendly atmosphere!
The layout plays 13 of the standard Columbia Park course, 2 modified holes within the course (Tentative to change if events are being held at the Kiawanis area.), and 3 bay holes.
We have some changes in mind to help speed of play with the bay holes, since they seem to create a bit of a backup. The 1st bay hole (16) will be a short hole in length, but an island with a death putt drop zone. The 2nd bay hole (17) will be a med length hole, with a elevated basket. The 3rd bay hole (18) will be the newest change, we will not throw over the water. Instead the tee area will be where the drop zone used to be played from, to a basket in the trees about 600 feet away.
It should play for some fun golf and good scoring.
