I just sent an initial email to all players and wait-listers. Some emails are bouncing back, so you might double-check your registration info and update your email if incorrect. Copied below is the email.

We are excited to see you at Peter Pan park at the end of the month for the Monkey Island Open!

Please make sure your PDGA membership is current by Thursday, March 23.

Waitlist full price? Any chance of more spots opening?

We are at max capacity for this event (5 people per hole), so we cannot open more spots. We usually request payment for a waitlist spot, so when players make it into the event, we do not have to track them down for payment. It is also suggested to set up the registration page like this during the creation process. If you do not get into the event, you will be refunded.

Why is ma2 doubled the amount of ma3?

We updated our event registration fee structure for 2023. This allows for better player packs, more buy in for the divisions, and bigger payouts. We can always reconsider for other events, however, so thank you for your feedback!

So ma3 is playing for only trophies then, no funny money?

Copied from the "About" section for Saturday's tourney: "The Rec and Junior Divisions are playing for trophies only. Players in these divisions will receive an extra $10 gift card from our retail store in their player packs."
