COVID-19 UPDATE
In order to ensure the safety of all players and tournament staff the following changes will apply to the 2020 FDR Fools Fest.

- The players meeting will be prerecorded and made available online prior to the event. All players will be emailed a written version of the players meeting for reference as well.

- Day of check in will still happen in person, but we will limit the line to 5 people with 6' distancing in place. Please get there early and allow for extra time to check in.

- Players packs will be available in clear plastic bags and will be first come first serve. You will not be allowed to pick through the available discs. Tournament Staff will do their best to get players their mold/color/weight preference.

- There will be no breakfast provided and we will not be taking lunch orders this year. Additionally there will be no water provided on the course. Please bring your own food/drinks and plan accordingly.

- PDGA Digital Scoring will be in play; instructions on how scoring will work for the event will be sent out to the field prior to the event.

- We will not be rotating cards between Round 1 and Round 2; you will be playing with the same foursome and will be starting on the same hole for both rounds.

- There will be no trophy ceremony at the end of the round. Winners will be announced online after the event, and trophies will be mailed to the winners.

As I'm sure everyone is aware we're facing a pandemic that is impacting all aspects of our lives including disc golf. Over the past 36 hours there have been some major developments, including the recommendation by NYS to cancel all events with greater than 50 attendants. Therefore, it is with a heavy heart that the Board of Directors has had to make the difficult decision to suspend all WeDGE affiliated events until Monday, April 20th. This will include official WeDGE leagues, doubles, tournaments, team events, and the 2020 FDR Fools Fest.

We understand this may be frustrating news for some, and trust us that it is for us as well. This decision comes out of the respect for everyone as we would hate any of our gatherings to be responsible for worsening the current situation.

The 2020 FDR Fools Fest - Am Divisions will be rescheduled for Saturday, September 26th, 2020. All current registrants will be automatically registered for the postponed event in September - Refunds will be issued to any registrant who cannot attend, or who would like one. If spots open up, we will move through the waitlist accordingly.
