About this tournament
What's everyone buzzing about in West-Central Illinois? Oh, it must be the first annual Hornets Nest Open at Mt. Sterling's first and only disc golf course!
Come join in on the fun for a day of competitive PDGA play and a whole lot of prizes and cool gear just for playing!
This is a PDGA Sanctioned C Tier disc golf tournament - this will be a "True Amateur" event since the course is so new and its first PDGA tournament so there will be no cash payout. TROPHY ONLY tournament! PDGA Membership is not required, but a $10 fee will apply for non-members in addition to the $20 entry fee. PDGA membership / fee does not apply to Junior divisions. Divisions may be combined pending the number of registrants. 72 player cap.
Two rounds of 18 holes at Hornets Nest Disc Golf Course.
Presenting sponsors are Discraft and Dynamic Discs. Player packs include a D-line Buzzz, a towel, a hat, and handgrip. Ace and CTP prizes include 5 Sniper backpacks and a Westside Weekend basket from Dynamic Discs.
At this point, all divisions will be playing the same layout. May create alternate tees for junior divisions.
Every card winner the second round wins a prize.
