Okay Disc Golf Community! Spread the word! I just attended 2 NEW GROUND BREAKING CEREMONIES in SUBLIMITY and STAYTON for "S+S Disc Golf." There attempt is to have a Front nine-Back nine style between two towns equaling 18 holes between the two parks. CHURCH PARK and PIONEER PARK, both iconic parks for the cities, are beautifully manicured with brand new yellow band disc catchers just like Blue Lake. Each park is family friendly, novice/intermediate level courses with holes ranging from ... more

Rick Saffeels   October 6, 2013 at 12:01am

The courses are completed except signage! 18 concrete teepads and you can go to their Facebook page called "S+S Disc Golf" I only heard about it from Rich Ayers last night on the Scene.

Mr CLEAN   October 6, 2013 at 1:16am

Did you notice any bee's nests. Maybe calls to city may have worked or may be just coincidence. Never know with city and parks dept

Daneger Jones   September 12, 2013 at 1:14am

I ran into a big hornets nest on hole 2/10? maybe a week ago. it was at the base of a big oak tree not in the way of the hole butt if you dump a flick over like I did you''ll find it. lol.

Rick Saffeels   September 12, 2013 at 1:15am

Yeah man lots of bees. See you all friday for Frolfers!

HOW DO WE REGISTER?

Rick Saffeels   September 9, 2013 at 3:22pm

I think it should be in person or at our office so no one loses money. Otherwise PayPal will work too. The Pycho Santa's $1.34 registeration fee is getting paid by the camp, so I don't want to do that with the Ace Race as well :)

Rick Saffeels   September 9, 2013 at 3:27pm

I already submitted an open registration online as well, and that will have up to a day turn around

Rick Saffeels   September 9, 2013 at 3:27pm

op...its up :) "That was easy"

Hey disc golfers! We are going to be starting our Bag Tag League at Canyonview Camp in two weeks. It's 19 minutes from Cascade Gateway in Salem, 15 minutes from Taloali in Sublimity, 23 minutes from Woodmansee in Salem, and 19 minutes from the new Wheatland Course in Keizer/Brooks. It is becoming most peoples favorite/most challenging courses to play because every hole is unique in its own way but there are some confidence builder holes for all. Come check it out by texting me and making an appointment to play, because it IS A PRIVATE COURSE. 503-508-3113 Thanks!

Dallas actually helped did some of the holes for the baskets!!

Steve Moore   August 25, 2013 at 9:05am

I am aware of that, and others that have been involved. Just putting it out there it takes continual work on courses and thanks to those that do get involved.
