With the summer leagues coming to a close it is time to look forward to the winter season. With that of course comes the MCCG Putting League at 5 Star Lanes. This league and grown very popular with last year averaging 45 players every week. With this though it is quite a commitment from the organizers to be there every night for an 18 week season. This year a few of the staff are looking to take some of their Monday's back and enjoying the option to show up when they want. With that, we are looking for some new volunteers to step up to keep the league going for an 11th season.
Double Tap Director:
- Laptop to keep the basic statistics of players, money, and payouts straight
- Run the nightly event
- Manage the money (and tickets) each week which quickly gets into the hundreds of dollars
- Collect artwork for membership discs
- Place the order for membership discs
Support Staff:
- Laptop (with Excel) to run the spreadsheets for the operation of the league
- Training from Rob on how to run the league if he cannot make it (rare)
- Create and Manage side bets to increase the activity during the night
- Active on social media to increase interest in the league
- Organize a couple of flymarts through the season
These people need to commit that they can be there every week, without fail.
Rob will still be there to run the daily operation of the league. He just doesn't have a laptop so this is key. Without a laptop we have no league this season. Without a second person and a second laptop we have no Double Tap.
