According to the tentative schedule, the 12U division is only down to play 4 rounds? is this an oversight or will they only play 4 rounds?
Four rounds prior to Finals is correct.
I appreaciate the PDGA for all they do for the sport and juniors. However, I would highly recommend taking a look at this schedule and consider allowing this group to play the normal 5 to 6 rounds. 12U played 6 rounds last year without problem. However, I would highly recommend taking a look at this schedule and consider allowing this group to play the normal 5 to 6 rounds. 12U played 6 rounds last year without problem. I understand that scheduling for an event like this is a nightmare however they could easily just play along with their pool and the numbers would not be above 72. Please consider this considering it is consistent with years past for 12U and 13U prior. Thanks again for all you do for the sport
The Tentaive Schedule has every other junior division playing SIX rounds. Is it supposed to be four rounds before the finals, six rounds before the finals, or four for some divisions and six for others?
FJ12 and under & MJ10 and under are playing 9 holes at 9am and a 2nd 9 holes at 2pm on days 1 and 2, then 18 on Peter Pan short for day 3. Day 4 brings 9 holes in the morning for all 10 and under and 18 for FJ12. Then the final 9 at modified Country Club for these divisions. So while their schedule looks like 6 "rounds" before the finals it's not really.
Thanks, I see that in the fine print now. F/MJ15 & F/MJ18 play six rounds and the younger groups play four.
I have passed this concern along to the TD and PDGA Course Reviewer for their consideration.
