Hey gang, don’t forget next Tuesday is week 1 of the Spring league! 5 pm, don’t forget your bag tags!
I’ve had a number of questions concerning how the NRC construction will be effecting is. They will be starting construction on the 16th I believe, during which we will lose holes 1 and 18. Not sure if this is do to them doing actual building there or just using as a staging area for equipment. Either way, I am currently working on 2 alternate fairways in the woods between 8 and 9 and hope to have them ready by this week or next. Now, not to get anyone’s hopes up, but there is a slight chance that we have access to more of that wooded area which could potentially give us room for another 6 (A-F) holes. We’ll be scouting the area over the next few weeks to draw up a plan and submit it to the church. IF it gets the go-ahead it will be all volunteer work so all of you are welcome (needed actually LOL) to help clear the area. With enough manpower it could potentially be ready to play by the beginning of 2019!
