Good morning. We wanted to send out some info in regards to the event tomorrow.
Thanks for signing up to play "Cedar Grove Heatwave #1" event with us on 6/2 at Cedar Grove. The event will be 2 rounds, and is a PDGA C tier.
All course particulars will be in PDGA live. We will play the Purple layout first. It is our intermediate layout. Then we will take a break, and then play the Green layout second. It is our shortest layout. The passcode for PDGA Live will be: heatwave62
Any casual water (pond not included) will be played as casual relief. On holes 7 and 9, you get 2 meter free relief from the fence that is the property line.
When you come to our house, the address is 21208 Meadow Lane, 47041. Our driveway is a shared driveway. Ours is the first driveway to the RIGHT. You will see a little planter that looks like a disc golf basket with our address on it. Look to the right and that's it.
For the day, we have a lot of fun planned. It will be a shotgun start at 930a. Check in will be inside the garage starting at 845a. When you arrive, I will be outside to help you get parked. For those who have to park in the yard, it isn't bad and we do it at all our events.
We will NOT be providing lunch during the break for this event. There are not many options out here, so I would plan on eating here, because we have had people attempt to go out, and then miss a hole or 2 in the 2nd round. We don't want that to be you.
There is an ACE fund included in your entry fee. If there are no aces hit, then we will do a throw off on hole 1 GREEN layout. It's always a fan favorite. In the event of a tie for first, the players will start on hole 1 and follow the round 1 layout until there is a winner.
The cards will be made up primarily of 3's and 4's both rounds. Please keep others in mind with your pace of play.
Hole assignments will be posted Saturday by 9p. If you want to withdraw, to receive a refund, it must be submitted by 3p Saturday afternoon.
Again, we are excited to see you all on Sunday. Have a great weekend, and we will see you ready to take down Cedar Grove. We hope it’s the most “Brutiful” course you’ll ever play!
