Week 13

We had 19 show for dubs this past sunday including two new to Sunday dubs at the Rock. Living legend Tom Edwards and first timer Brian D graced us with their presence. Also in attendance was the best female disc golfer I know, KB. J Pro and Service had a killer round coming in at four down and taking home $25 each. Zain and Brian were a close second earning their entry fee back. Steve got the ctp on hole 13 (again) and gave his prize to Bradley. Thanks, you're the man!

Lol, cant believe this was three years ago.

M Peyton   February 17, 2016 at 4:55pm

Wow. It's too bad that club never took off. Good news is we started the KFDGC instead!

Week 12

Scores were tight at the Rock last Sunday, with only one group finishing over par. It was only right that we would have an epic playoff battle prior to what turned out to be an exciting super bowl. With a 52, team Service/Champ edged out teams BB/Watson and Gary/Bobby by a narrow margin, after several lead changes during regulation. From another group Team Steve/Peyton carded a 52 as well. What happened next will live forever in Rockburn legend. 1st playoff hole is always from 1 tee to 6 basket. ... more

Week 11

15 Rockburners showed up for a snow doubles last Sunday. Only two left with the cash. Team BB and Peyton. Despite a late night spanking Jerry and Pat at shuffleboard Saturday, we found the strength to put together a decent round. Thanks again to everyone who pulled a two dayer at the Rock. The ice bowl kicked a lot of asses as usual, so I know it wasn't easy to wake up Sunday morning to do it all over again. Now thats dedication people. No ctp contest this week, but some people still donate ... more

Week Nine

Congratulations to Waymon and Gary for a solid performance Sunday. They took all the cash with a 2 down dispite the wet conditions. Thats three out of three for Peet. Its too bad you haven't been out more often, you might be leading this thing. Instead it's Peyton in first, Gary in second and my man Travis in third. I'm working on some sweet trophies for the top 10. Jim took the ctp on hole 13 this week. Also like to welcome a couple new heads to Sunday dubs, Spencer and Jordan. B ... more

Week Seven

I would like to welcome Chris, Jason, Lenny and Garrett to Sunday dubs at the Rock. As our attendance continues to grow so does the ace pot. We are now over $200, so the $2 option is on the table. If you pay $2 for the ace pot you will win $200. Our donations have also reached $215. After talking with BB it sounds like the tee signs are getting done soon. We are able to use the donation money for something else. If you have any good ideas as to how to apply the money please let me know. Some g ... more

Week Six

Another fun Sunday at the Rock. We had 18 players including a few new to Sunday dubs at the Rock. After the round there was a 3 way tie at the top at 4 down. On the first playoff hole(1 tee to 6 basket) Jim and Peyton took home all the cash by carding a 4. Great play today by teams Fish/Brian and Travis/Zain. Big thanks to Pat for the sodas and breakfast. All breakfast donations along with ctp donations and Rockburn tag donations were added to the Rockburn fund. We are over $200 in just six week ... more

Week Five

Happy to see so many new faces Sunday. We had a big crowd with 21 contestants. Many thanks go to Larry of Laurel for getting those tags done so quickly. They turned out great and it looks like we may need to order more. On his first visit to Sunday dubs at the Rock, Wayne Zink teamed up with Lol, took home the victory. Glad to see Wayne and Ray at the Rock on a Sunday morning. I know it's no Ptap! Jerry parked 15b, our final hole, to give us the 2 and a tie for second at a 51. All the money ... more

Week Four

After 18 holes two teams were tied at -4. Playoffs? Larry the hat, who played schizo, vs. Peyton and Jake. We played 1 tee to 6d. Both teams carded a 5. Final playoff hole was from the road on 6 to 18 long. With a huge gallery L from Laurel parked a thumber on his third shot. This shot would prove to be the winner. Nice work money. Its been fun. Ctp donations plus $5 from Fred puts us at $82 raised for the Rock
