*REVISION 8/13/2020* BML ACE Fund NEW RULE *Effective 7/23/2020*

If a player ACES a hole, they will receive the ACE fund for that night and their portion of the remaining fund relative to how many weeks they have played.

For example, if a player ACES on week 12, but they have only played 8 weeks out of the 12 total, they are only eligible for (8 / 12 = 0.75) or 75% of the remaining available ACE fund.

This will now be a standing rule for this league since ACE fund is mandatory every week.

Any leftover ACE fund will continue to roll over to the next week.

U-DISC LEAGUE HAS BEEN SET UP!

Tonight I would like all players to utilize the U-Disc League feature for scoring.

When you open U-Disc, click on "CREATE SCORECARD".

Select "Parma at Veterans Memorial Park"

Select the JUL 23 Event "Big Money League 2020"

Keep score accurately on each hole.

All players should be able to see raw scores in real time.

Players will establish handicaps after one round at each course. Handicaps will be 80% of a player's difference from par.

Round may take place between Tuesday May 26th @ 8am - Thursday May 28th @ 9pm. All card mates must have posted payment prior to tee-off.

Starting next week (week 5) we will be returning to normal league format while following the ODH guidelines for organized non-contact sports. League next week will be at Lakeview DGC on Thursday 6/4 with tee off between 5:45-6pm

*NEW RULES as of 5/5/2020*

- Rounds may be played between Tuesday 8am - Thursday 9pm of each week.
- Payment must be sent to the PDGC Paypal account before tee off for scores to count.
- Scores will be collected, but results and payouts will not be posted until Friday.

*We will give the separate divisions a 2 week trial run. If people really want to go back to handicaps with one division, we can do that, but it will be simplified to one handicap for both courses.*

2020 League Start - May 7th *MAJOR CHANGES*

I have spent time reviewing the Ohio public health orders and the recent stay home order amendment issued by the ODH. Unfortunately, it is pretty clear to me that we are not allow to run an organized league in-person until told otherwise.

I am not willing to accept the possible legal consequences of organizing and running a conventional league (in person) at this time. However, I would be open to running weekly tournaments over Facebook similar to what they are doing in Columbus right now (o ... more

I have spent time reviewing the Ohio public health orders and the recent stay home order amendment issued by the ODH. Unfortunately, it is pretty clear to me that we are not allow to run an organized league in-person until told otherwise.

I am not willing to accept the possible legal consequences of organizing and running a conventional league (in person) at this time. However, I would be open to running weekly tournaments over Facebook similar to what they are doing in Columbus right now (organized by Ben Creger).

I would run the tournaments as follows:

- Weekly tournaments on Thursdays at Veteran's DGC or Lakeview DGC (same times and locations as normal league)
- Course layouts posted Thursday mornings on the PDGC Facebook page.
- Players must pay via Paypal by 5pm the day of the round. *CASH WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT ANY TIME*
- Players make their own cards of 3-4 players.
- Players play tournament round on Thursday between 5pm-9pm.
- Players send scores to me for result tabulation via picture of scorecard or screenshot of Udisc scores.
- All players listed on scorecard (First and Last Names) must have posted payment by 5pm on Thursday in order for scores to be counted (unless discussed with me in advance).
- Payouts via payal by 12 noon the following day.
- Scores and payout information to be posted on DGC and recorded in a Google Sheet like always.
- No ACE fund or Skins to keep things simple this season. Side bets and the $5/$1 club will be encouraged.

There will be two divisions:

PROFESSIONAL:
- $10 buy in: $1 to PDGC and $9 to payouts.
- Scratch scores only (no handicap)
- 20% field payout (rounding up) according to a predetermined payout chart.

AMATEUR:
- $6 buy in: $1 to PDGC and $5 payouts.
- Scratch scores only (no handicap)
- 30% field payout (rounding up) according to a predetermined payout chart

2020 League Start - May 7th (Tentative)

The tentative plan is to start league in two weeks, on May 7th, at Lakeview DGC. The only reason this will change is if the government won't allow it.

Please be responsible and do not attend if you are feeling under the weather or are experiencing ANY illness symptoms.

With that being said, everyone is responsible for their own safety and should make sure they are comfortable attending league with the current state of things.

This season will be slightly different from the last few; no point series and one handicap for both courses.
