Last Round and League Finale dates

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick reminder that tomorrow's round (9/1) will the last round to earn points for our season points series. The following Tuesday (9/8) we will hold our league finale event with awards ceremony and a fun doubles round for prizes.

For our final points round tomorrow, cards will be formed based on overall points standing, with the lead card containing the top season point earners followed by the rest down the line. You will be playing against those you are most clo ... more

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick reminder that tomorrow's round (9/1) will the last round to earn points for our season points series. The following Tuesday (9/8) we will hold our league finale event with awards ceremony and a fun doubles round for prizes.

For our final points round tomorrow, cards will be formed based on overall points standing, with the lead card containing the top season point earners followed by the rest down the line. You will be playing against those you are most closely competing for in leaderboard position. Everything else will be the same for tomorrow.

More details will be shared about league finale day on 9/8 as we get closer. Please plan to stay late on 9/8, as we will follow the doubles rounds with an awards ceremony and ask all to stick around after they play, if possible.

7/28/20 Week 6

It was a hot one out there tonight. 46 Players out tonight in the heat. I have registered the league for the UDisc League Beta just to see what it was about and if it was able to help us out in any way. I'm not sure how it is going to work for us yet besides seeing if anyone has gotten the Birdie Holes/Aces. Scores will still need to be turned in at the picnic tables for the time being. At the very least it has our league information on another platform for more people to find.

It was a hot one out there tonight. 46 Players out tonight in the heat. CTP on 7 was taken by Vijay Kakkad for $27. Joel Gomez takes the Longest Birdie on hole 5 for a Factory Second Max Weight Katana, donated by Jordan Wagner. Also, I forgot to mention last week that Shane Piroso donated an Etch Mug as a CTP on hole 18 and that was won by Mike Sullivan (If I remember correctly). With possibly one of the easiest Birdie Pot hole combination that we have seen so far(2, 6, 10, 17) and it still wasn't hit! Birdie Pot grows to $77.

Meanwhile, the Aces seem to be flowing this season. With 2 Aces tonight, Brian Schweinhart - Hole 6 and William Hiliker - Hole 14, the Ace Pot remains empty. Unfortunately for William he did not buy into the Ace Pot, so fortunately for Brian he takes the full $30 Ace Pot. William is now the proud owner of a $1 Bill to buy into the Ace pot next week.

Tied for Hot Round for the evening goes to a familiar name and a new name topping the leader board. Lance Krzeminski and Nick Rancourt with 49s. Greg Bianco's 50 is enough to take 3rd place and rounding out the top 5 we have the Billy's (Crane and Demarino) with 51s. Nice Shooting fellas.

7/21/20

Overall great shooting tonight everyone. 54 players tonight and almost 50% shot even or better! Did every one see the new signs that Parks and Rec put up at the kiosk at hole 1? just a reminder NO ALCOHOL at the park and the park is CARRY IN, CARRY OUT. I think that we have been doing a god job of leaving the park cleaner than when we get there, lets keep that up.

Tonight's 50/50 raffle brought in $54 and the winner, Walter Doolin, only took $10 from that sending $44 towards the Raymond ... more

But Wait.. There's More!! AJ Jasper hit an ACE tonight on hole 7 for $94 and donated $30 towards the Raymond Course as well! That pushes our total to over $200!! $206 from Pelham League towards the Raymond Course!

CTP on hole 6 was taken by Fred Lefty.. I mean Lusky for $33. The Birdie pot continues to roll with no one getting the 7, 9, 11, 13 combination.

Hot Round for the night was Billy Crane with a 50, followed by Will Cox (51) and Brian Schweinhart (52). Then we had a bunch of people shooting 53s: Lance Krzeminski, Nate Hoitt, William Hiliker and John Bilsky.

7/7/20 Week 4 News

Well the weather wasn't as bad as it could have been but it was still a bit moist out there tonight. Thank you everyone who reached out that were running a bit late, next week I will definitely look at my phone and actually check you in.

50/50 gathered $40 tonight which Dicky Smart won $20 of but only took his $10 buy-in back sending the $30 towards the Raymond Course. If we as a league are able to raise the total donations for the Raymond course to $500 we will get a Tee Pad with a plaq ... more

The Birdie pot was unsurprisingly not reported to be hit tonight with Holes 8, 9, 10, and 13 being the targets. $15 rolls into the pot for next week bringing the pot up to $35

No Aces tonight either, which adds $28 to the Ace pot starting next weeks pot at $60.

This weeks hot Round goes to Billy Crane with a 49. Just behind him were a slew of 50s from Vijay Kakkad, Colby "Taco" Foster, and Ben Winchell. No 51s? tonight which brings Ian Dempster and John Bilsky's 52s tied for 5th.

Don't forget to Check out the tournament tab and sign-up for some upcoming Breakin Chains events like the Ironman B-Tier which plays both Hollows North and South straight through. I believe the LFDT at Pelham is sold out but still plenty of room in the Hollows LFDT the day after.

**Most importantly, Sign-up for the Jason "Stacks" Barry Memorial tournament that is this Sunday to show your love and support for one of our own that we tragically lost last year. The tournament isn't a PDGA sanctioned event and is mostly for fun and remembrance our Stacks. There will be payouts but some of the money will go to pay for a bench with Stacks' logo etched into for Hole 16 on Hollows North.**

7/7/20 Week 3 News

Hello Everyone. I hope the round went a little smoother this week. I remembered to change the settings to do cards of 3 and adjusted the preferred starting holes around a bit. Check in Could have gone a bit smoother towards 530 but i understand people tend to run a little late. Last Call for Check-In is at 5:25 please try to get checked in before that. If you are running late try to get a hold of someone and have them check you in. I can be found on Facebook Messenger pretty easily, not too many ... more

50/50 Raffle was won by Brandon Daugherty who took $10 giving the Raymond Course a total of $15 raised by us tonight. ($73 raised through 3 weeks)
Birdie Holes for the night were 1, 4, 11, and 18. As far as I know no one got all 4 so the $20 Birdie Pot rolls to next week.
No Aces hit either. $32 rolling over.

Hot round for the night goes to Lance Krzeminski matching his score from last week with a 49. Colby "Taco" Foster close behind with a 50 followed by Matt Stolarz and AJ Jasper with 51s . 5th place for the night goes to the 4 52s: Billy Crane, Nate Hoitt, Will Cox and Logan Kuzmitch.

6/23/20 - Round 1 News

YAY!! League has finally started! We had a good turn out tonight with 50 people out on the course. 12 of which are new to the league. I think we did a good job of being socially distant and the steps that we've taken work out well (ie. posting hole assignments to Facebook, paying in exact change) and we will continue to do that moving forward. The only thing that I ask is a little bit of help on getting the CTP flags to and from the holes. If you end on a Hole with a CTP flag please make su ... more

We ran a 50/50 raffle to raise some money to donate to the new course in Raymond, the raffle brought in $58 with $29 being won by the great and powerful Vijay who has donated his winnings to the Raymond Course fund. Thank you Vijay!

Breakin Chains donated a Method as a CTP for us on hole 13, which Andrew Fonseca is now the proud owner of, with his parked drive. Nice throw Andrew and Thank you Bill and Norma from Breakin Chains Disc Golf Supplies (located at 373 South Willow St. Manchester and at Bellamy Park in Dover NH).

Cash CTP for $34 was taken by John Bilsky on Hole 1 with a lot of contenders making their mark on the hole.

I hope everyone enjoyed the Birdie Pot. Tonight's Holes were 4, 5, 10 and 14. As far as I know no one hit all four birdies so that pot will roll over just like the Ace Pot. The Ace Pot of $34, and Birdie Pot of $24, will roll over until they are hit. New Birdie Holes will be selected at random every week during hole assignments and will be included in the Facebook post.

We had 2 Hot Rounds from Colby (Taco) Foster and Brian Schweinhart throwing 49"s tonight. Jordan Wagner, AJ Jasper and Evan Moe were hot on their heels with 50s. Nice shooting fellas.

No Alcoholic Beverages or other prohibited substances. This is a zero tolerance policy.

All trash is carry-in, carry-out.

If you are feeling sick or have been sick recently, do not come to league.
Maintain social distancing guidelines, ... more

We are planning to have a hand sanitizer pump bottle at the check-in table for use if needed.

Due to the short season, we will have only 11 total rounds this year. Your BEST 10 of those rounds will count towards the overall league point series.

All else should hopefully be as normal. We’ll try to get there early on Tuesday to get folks signed up as they arrive. Each player gets a 2020 Pelham Disc Golf Club tag, as well as a custom club can topper mini. 5:30 shotgun start. See you Tuesday.

Pelham Course and League Update - Please Read

First, as you would expect, Pelham Tuesday League start has been postponed until further notice.

Second, yes, the baskets were removed by the town. The good news is that the parks department is currently planning to return the baskets at some point after the lock-down lifts. I don't know exactly when that will be, but I am hopeful that there will be a 2020 Pelham League Season.

The bad news is that the evidence of drinking at the course has not gone unseen. The town's Board of S ... more

Second, yes, the baskets were removed by the town. The good news is that the parks department is currently planning to return the baskets at some point after the lock-down lifts. I don't know exactly when that will be, but I am hopeful that there will be a 2020 Pelham League Season.

The bad news is that the evidence of drinking at the course has not gone unseen. The town's Board of Selectmen were quite upset at the findings and will be monitoring the situation closely. The town has asked me to strongly remind everyone that the disc golf course falls under town park rules, meaning alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited. Please help me spread this word to those you know who play, or those you see playing at the course. If drinking continues, I was told the course will be closed indefinitely and will become bmx bike trails... Let's be smart and do what we have to do to keep this course open. Spread the word.

Also, as noted earlier the trash barrels on the course have already been removed, and going forward the course will be fully carry-in carry-out. Please plan accordingly.
