Headed north for a much needed vacation monday morning... so ill be missing our on the fun at league. Have fun ladies, and don't forget to go have a frozen pudding shot after the round. The monday night bartendy knows lisa and I quite well.

I have done a little rearranging on the schedule but it's not in the next couple weeks. So if you have printed a schedule, you may want to throw that one away. I may still change some dates when I look at it again later, but it's mainly the last 6 weeks of league. If there is anyone interested in a Berth to the Michigan State Finals in Ludington on Labor Day weekend, and you don't have one yet, please let me know and we will figure out how to give them away. Hey girls! I know you were all tired from the tournament this weekend, but please take note that while you were all relaxing, the 4 oldest women in leagues, who ALSO played DGGW, showed up tonight. :-) We had a blast tonight!

Ladies! I'm scheduling a league night out at Rum Runners! Marquita plays dueling piano there. Friday November 9. The pianos start playing at 7pm. What time do people want to head out there?

Laura, I am sad to see you leave. It was awesome having you join us at league this year! Will u please private message me your address so I can send you one of the club minis? I have family in Springfield, VA so they are basically your neighbors! We may be visiting for Xmas so I will text u or call u and let u know. there is a a short course near them at Burke park that is fun to play:-) Have a safe move and we shall meet up and disc again.

Erin Caszatt is the winner of the contest! This was one of the original contest designs and worked perfect for the minis. I ordered mostly purple and blue minis with a few of each other color added in. I tried to get pink but they don't have pink. I suggested they get get pink in the future;) He must think I am crazy when I send him disc order requests:)

OH and some other advice on shoes....if you can afford it, buy 2 pairs and rotate them once in a while, it will make both pair last longer! If you wear the same ones over and over again, they will fall apart quicker.

I now have a pair of the Keen Milo2's. They are made for disc golf and I also have slightly wider feet. They are by far the most comfy shoes I've ever disced in. I've gone through a lot of shoes in the past 12 years of golfing:) The only issue I have with them now is they are black and suck in the heat. I also found a pair of Salomon's (SP?) for only $30 at the outlet mall last year and they are SUPER comfy and very breathable. I would check out Gander Mountain for sales and the other places Jayne suggested too! I once got a pair of waterproof Keens at GM for $50.

Hey I am looking to buy some shoes soon and was wondering what was best for disc golfing and dont fall apart easy, so Keen or Merrell? What style? I also have wide feet! lol Thanks!! :)
