After tonight the Ace pool was still not hit and up to $67. after letting everyone vote on what to do with it. We decided to throw off for it (in the dark). after pacing it off about 5 times. I was about a foot closed then David Downey.

Next week Aug 14th
We will be heading back to Hudson Mills for 18 holes (long tees) on the Original. by far the easiest course of the 4. but still challenging none the less
I just added a point system to the league, if we have 10 players each week there should be about $15 left over after I pay all the PDGA fees. So I think we can split it up 3 ways ($5 each).
1. lowest total score for 8 rounds
2. best score from each course, and the lowest total from 4 courses
3. who ever has the highest amount of points after 8 weeks
first place each week will get 10 points, second place will get 9, and so on. tenth and lower will get 1 point each for competing
11 players came out for the 2nd week. With G Lane shooting the hot round of 55 on 18 holes of Monster Champ Black. Both weeks now the best score didn't get in on the $5 side bet. Jamie Mosier taking home the $8 CTP. Ace pool is up to a whopping $15 after 2 weeks. The unoffical Ratings can be seen at

First Huron VAlley League complete
I would like to thank everyone that has come out over the last 10 weeks. it is nice to know I wasn't the only one that would like to play some rated rounds on some of the tougher course layouts around town.
I've sent in the final TD report tonight and also sent them the $25 League fee and the $42.50 (50 cents for each of the 85 individual rounds played) so hopefully I filled everything out right and we will see this event in the next rating update Oct 16th.

After tonight there was $2.50 left over from the $1 league fee collected from everyone each week. I will add that to the Winter League "Ace pool". Which I am planning on starting Saturday Januray 5th. (which would be 3 weeks in Jan / 3 weeks in Feb) skipping the 2 weekends that have tournaments
As of right now I am thinking next spring/summer starting back up Tuesday nights on April 16th
