RULES
[1] CONDUCT: Everyone is on their honor to conduct themselves according to the rules and within the spirit of competition. HAVE FUN - IT'S ONLY TAG. The purpose of the Bag Tag Challenge is to encourage friendly competition among North Woods Disc Chuckers members. In order for the Bag Tag Challenge to work, ALL CHALLENGES MUST BE ACCEPTED and DISC GOLF RELATED.
[2] CARRYING/VISIBILITY: Each player must have their Bag Tag at all times. Bag Tags must be plainly visible and can not be hidden. If a bag tag participant fails to bring their tag to a challenge or mandatory event, they will not be allowed to participate, and will automatically receive a deduction of 10 challenges and wins from their overall total. If a tag is not collected after a mandatory event or challenge, that person will automatically receive a deduction of 5 challenges and wins from their overall total( they may have someone else collect their tag if they must leave before tags are redistributed, and will not receive a deduction). If you break your tag loop, we will be happy to replace it for you. You must be carrying the correct tag to participate in a challenge. Failure to exchange tags after a challenge will result in a suspension - you will not be able to challenge until you hold the correct tag.
[3] CHALLENGES: Challenges are done on a first come basis. If you have a pending challenge with another person, and either of you decide to participate in a different challenge first, the original challenge is cancelled. Challenges are to be made by choosing times and courses that are reasonable. The challenged player picks the format (course, tees, extra strokes, etc). If the challenger wins, the tags are exchanged. Each person is allowed 1 CTP challenge per week. If you fail to exchange tags at the end of a challenge, you cannot challenge again until the correct tags are held by the each person.
[4] TIMEFRAME: The challenged player must give the challenger 2 times to meet within the next week. If the challenged player cannot meet up within this timeframe, the challenge is cancelled. Bag Tag will NOT be forfeited.
[5] TIES: Are won by the holder of the higher ranked bag tag at the beginning of the challenge. However, if ALL players agree before the round starts; a play-off can be used as a tie-breaker.
[6] TOURNAMENTS AND LEAGUES: All MUST participate in challenges at a singles format tournaments and leagues. Doubles/teams format tournaments and leagues are not required. The tags are thrown into a pool by competing players and distributed by score at the end of the tournament - not round by round. If a challenge is not completed before a tournament, and those participating in the challenge are playing in said tournament, the challenge will be cancelled.
[7] INCOMPLETE ROUNDS: If a player does not complete a bag tag challenge round, the exiting player should trade tags with the player with the lowest ranked tag number. If play is stopped by all players before the round is complete, no tags are exchanged. This could be due to hazardous weather, physical emergency or mutual agreement.
[8] REMATCHES: Once a challenge has been completed, you can only re-challenge the same person for the same tag numbers once in the same week.
[9] PRIZE ELIGIBILITY: Each bag tag participant must participate in a minimum of 20 challenges, and Bag Tag Finals, to be eligible for prizes and cash payouts.
[10] LOST TAGS: When a tag is lost, the number is dropped from the standings. Members can purchase a replacement tag for $10.00 and will receive the next lowest tag (if available).
