A3disc Club Information
You may only play in A3's leagues if you have paid your annual $30 club dues.
Dues are collected beginning on the last Wednesday of April through the following year’s league start up. You can also register at this link: http://www.discgolfscene.com/tournaments/1_Disc_Challenge_2015_A3_League_Kickoff
Dues must be paid before league rounds will be tracked.
You will receive the same player pack as the players participating in the One Disc Challenge, April 26 at Hudson Mills Metropark, minus the One Disc.
Independence Lake Handicap League Details:
Play 3 rounds to establish your average/handicap will be calculated. Format will be the 18 numbered holes from the short tees. One point will be earned for the first three rounds a player logs.
Total points for the end of the year will be counted as each player’s best 12 rounds.
$1 Ace Pool optional.
MDGO Berths are available to club and league members based on a desire to win a berth, paying your dues and participation in league events.
Same rules as our Handicap league last year, but to recap:
Handicap will be applied to the score you shoot and you will earn points according to where you place: 10 points for first, 9 for second, etc., with each person earning at least one point.
Highest/worst score will be dropped after every 6 rounds played when calculating handicap. This will prevent “sand bagging†and make handicaps more fair.
To make things consistent, the ONLY OB areas that will be in effect all summer is the pond on hole 6 and pond on holes D/E, if your disc is completely surrounded, and the fence on hole 7.
Ace pool will pay 50% for players without average established. 100% for players with average established. Player will receive 5 bonus points for an ace.
$1 cash and disc CTPs will be available for all rounds. The number available will depend on the number of players.
League in 2015 will be on Mondays at 5:30pm. No make-up days for this league this year.
All unpaid Ace Pool money will be used at the end of season league party for food and refreshments at Hudson Mills Metropark.
