Near 9 Dubs tonight? Who's down? Please reply to this thread if you're down for some Near 9 Dubs tonight at 6:15. If there are 10 or more that respond, I'll be there (and it's not raining). If there are 3-9 we can still have it but I won't be there to run the show. Under 3 and we won't have it. If you know others that will be there, please include their name so we can have a more accurate number. Thanks!

Louie Orozco   October 2, 2013 at 1:05pm

Sounds good fellas! This will be the last WND Near 9 of the season. Also, I will have lights for purchase so have a few extra dollars with you tonight. See you there!

Louie Orozco    September 18, 2013 at 7:15pm

Sorry to do this but I feel it's necessary. The Near 9/12 Dubs scheduled for tonight is cancelled. Time would be better spent out at PC. We still have half the baskets to put mulch under. Wheelbarrows, pitch forks and rakes will make the job smooth. I have access to a wheelbarrow and two other 4-wheeled carts. Hit me up if you need any of this. We're halfway there.

Whats this! Cinderella story! Thats right ,lawbreaking, village idiot ,moves to the prestigious final twelve. When interviewed Rod MF Stepp says he owes it all to the straIghtshootin league sheriff, Lou Dogg.Through tears he mentions how the harsh disciplinary actions of sheriff Dogg reformed his ways and caused him to walk the straight and narrow . I love you Mom.... Ok this concludes our groundbreaking story from Wed Night Dubs.

True true Adam but it's all for nought. It was a false news report based on a false posting. It says rods in 12th but what it really means is Rod gets the shaft. Oh well back to a life of crime .

Adam Klein   September 6, 2013 at 3:27am

LMAO!

Adam Klein   September 6, 2013 at 3:28am

Louie Orozco    September 4, 2013 at 8:39am

I've had a couple of you ask about these end of season Dubs:

Wednesday the 4th is the last Dubs that is open to everyone. It starts at 6:15 so you'll need to be there a little earlier to get signed up or have someone take care of it for you.

Wednesday the 11th is the Dubs Finale which is open only to the 12 of you that qualified. This Dubs event will begin at 6:15 or once all 12 have arrived. Whichever comes sooner. $300 will be paid out.

I posted last nights scores. I questioned a couple of the scores because they were tough to make out. If your score is incorrect, please let me know and I'll fix it. Thanks!

Hello fellow Wednesday Night Dubbers. Unfortunately, the message I am writing tonight is not regarding an ace, a course record, or even a hot round.

I played Kincaid tonight, and I lost my pink roadrunner on hole 13, and then I lost my clear Sidewinder on hole 16. The wind was vicious tonight, and I left a few up, which led to less than desirable results.

My roadrunner on hole 13 sailed short of the lone pine tree left of the trail, but sailed across the trail into the jungle.

I thought I posted this already but I can't seem to find it (so maybe I didn't post it). We WILL hold WND this week as more than enough has been done out at Peter's Creek. Not that the project is done but it is looking really, really good. Thanks to those of you who have volunteered your time to make Peter's Creek an even better and more fun course to play. I'd like to see 40 of you out there tomorrow night (the record is 37).

Great turnout tonight! 32 of us even with BIG winds! It was tough out there. So tough, 0 of 16 teams carded a bogie free round. Only 4 teams 3'd #12. And three 2's on 14. WIND! Lastly, I'd like to thank Robbie Parrish for donating 13 DGA discs and a DGA hat to the ADGA. I'll use some of these for CTP's at future leagues. DUB LIFE!!!

I forgot to mention again tonight but I'd like to thank those who made the first Dubs of the year possible by spending time chipping away at the Am tees. I was sore for DAYS after. But, it felt good speeding up Mother Natures process. Here's 10 points for your efforts. And thank you!

If I missed anyone that spent 30 minutes or more out there please send me a message and I'll add you.

Ty Lou Dogg, gladd to help out!

Louie Orozco    May 5, 2013 at 5:46pm

Did anyone happen to pick up my blue ESP Drone after the throw off for 4th place Wednesday night? I can't imagine anyone would just let it sit there without picking it up or mentioning it was still there. I just got it back from Ft. Hills and sure would like it back in my bag.

Well how about that for the first Wednesday Night Dubs of the season? The 31 people in attendance is a new record for an opening night of Dubs. In case you were wondering how that compares since 2010... well, let me tell you:

2010 - 13
2011 - 18
2012 - 27
2013 - 31!

Little by little I'll begin to incorporate the baskets we skipped yesterday as they become more playable. Until then, please be patient. Some of you gave me grief for excluding those 3 but I did it for two reasons: ... more

I have to agree, we might consider pulling 12's basket until the mud dries...

Louie Orozco   May 3, 2013 at 2:17pm

I appreciate that A.K.

Louie Orozco   May 3, 2013 at 2:22pm

True dat Boyd. I've been thinking ahead for next week and I'm thinking we can play 9, skip 12 (hopefully with a pulled basket) and 18. It'll help with getting outta there too. This all depends on the conditions. Things are looking better day by day. COME ON OUT SUN!!!
